品味《印度洋上的秋思》中拟人修辞手法的运用

散文的语言一般都是生动活泼，简洁朴素。语言的表达自然流畅，寥寥数语就能描绘出生动的形象，让人置身于景之中。拟人的修辞手法更是众多散文作家不倦的写作手法。散文中的拟人给物或景赋予人的形态和情感，使之人格化，使描绘的物或景生动形象，使平淡无趣的物与景栩栩如生。在众多的作家中，我个人钟情于徐志摩的作品。我们丝毫不用怀疑徐志摩的写作功力，他的文字功底一流，他的散文更加是优美流畅，生动活泼。这都归功于他善用拟人的修辞方法来描绘手下的景或物，赋予他们生命，与之感情融为一体。
对于徐志摩的散文，我一直都很喜欢，而《印度洋上的秋思》更是一篇值得推荐的文章。在这文章里，徐志摩运用了多种修辞手法细腻的描述了印度洋上的风景，并借此特托出他当时的心情。特别是拟人的修辞手法，这种修辞手法将本来无聊的风景增添了生动性，并与他自己的真性情以及一贯的热情洋溢于文中，表现得淋漓尽致，完美无缺。在这篇文章中，他由此至終都是用了拟人的修辞手法来描述月光的柔情，给人一种浓得化不开的情感，更体现出月光的美丽。
印象中的徐志摩是个多情才子。他的散文一直散发出“徐志摩式”的韵味-飘逸柔情，情意绵绵。他善于运用多种修辞技巧来宣泄他独特的心境与情感。他的散文写得细腻，修辞手法运用得生动，将他的散文营造出独特的风格。他的散文经常给人一种唯美，浪漫的美感和气氛，或给人一种浓郁得化不开的情感，或给人一种浪漫多情的感觉。徐志摩最喜欢写的，大概是属于借景抒情的文章，他喜欢冥想。他的散文经常都是由某一风景而展开他多愁善感的情绪。他的散文往往散发着浓郁的妩媚柔情。徐志摩能使用拟人的修辞手法将一件平平常常的事，一个平平常常的场景写到引人注意，生动活泼，可是却有他独特的韵味。我觉得《印度洋上的秋思》更是拟人修辞手法写作的代表作。徐志摩将拟人的修辞手法赋予笔下的景与物人的生命，动作和感情，使文章活泼生动，优美顺畅。
在《印度洋上的秋思》，文章的开头，徐志摩首先用比喻的修辞手法描述了黄昏的美景。“黄昏时西天挂下一大帘的云母屏，掩住了落日的光潮，将海天一体化成暗蓝色，寂静得如黑衣尼在圣座前默祷，”（1999，p1）这里他将黄昏的静比喻成黑衣尼在圣座前默祷，点缀出黄昏的静。我觉得此情此景也许是作者对自身的描写，也许他是指的是自己本身在黄昏的美景下冥想。接住，作者继续描写周围环境的变化，此时，他运用拟人的修辞手法来描写当时的天气。 “过了一刻，即听得船梢布篷上悉悉索索啜泣起来，低压的云夹着迷蒙的雨色，将海线逼得像湖一般窄，沿边的黑影，也辨认不出是山是云，但涕泪的痕迹，却满布在空中水上。”(1999,p1)这里作者用拟人的修辞手法将下雨的情景拟人化。“悉悉索索啜泣起来”巧妙的形容了雨滴滴落在船梢布篷上的声音，就好象人在哭泣。“涕泪的痕迹”更增添了文章的生动，雨下到海上，自然会荡起一波波的涟漪，作者居然把这样的一个场景拟人化，真是形容得恰当，叫人拍案叫绝。本来下雨只是一件无聊的事，实在没有什么好写的。徐志摩却善用拟人的修辞手法将雨拟人化，使描绘下雨的情景更加生动，将修辞的手法融入文章中与自己的情感容为一体。我想作者当时的心情一定是不开心的吧，所以才会将雨写成在哭泣。虽然作者不开心，可是却能用生动活泼的拟人修辞手法去呈现他的内心，永远保持一个亲热的态度，没有哭诉他的愁与苦，而是通过轻松的语调豪不矜持地掏出内心的真心话。
紧接著，他描写了雨后的风光。“但方才啜泣的云，还疏松地幕在天空，只露着些惨白的微光，预告明月已经装束齐整，专等开幕。” “啜泣的云”贴切的形容了刚才下雨的情景，云是不能啜泣的，只有人能。作者将云拟人化，突出了下雨的情景。“装束”是人的行为。这里将“月”拟人化，使月亮拥有人的行为。从句子当中，我们可以感觉出月亮躲在云的后面整装待发。拟人的修辞手法使句子更加生动，形象更加鲜明。“北天云幕豁处，一颗鲜翠的明星，喜孜孜地先来问探消息，像新嫁媳的侍婢，也穿扮得遍体光艳。但新娘依然姗姗未出。”（1999，p1） “探”是人的行为，这里作者用拟人的修辞手法赋予星星人的行为，使星星更加生动活泼，活灵活现，充满着生气。这句话还将“星星”拟为“侍婢”，将“月亮”拟为“新娘”。这说明了作者期待已久的是“月亮”而不是“星星”，星星的出现只是预示着月亮将要隆重登场。星星只是陪衬品，月亮才是主角。在这篇文章中可以看出“月色”对于游子的作者多么重要，他在中秋夜期待已久的月色终于登场慰籍他思念家乡的心情。拟人的修辞手法使作者笔下描绘的情与景更鲜明，更生动。
爱情一向是徐志摩不倦的话题。他在散文中提到“一对醉情男女“在印度Ganges湖边接受月光的祝福。 “月光从云端里轻俯下来，在那女子脑前的珠串上，水息的烟尾上，印下一个慈吻，微晒，重复登上她的云艇，上前驶去。” “轻俯” “印下”“微晒”“登上”这一连串的动词都是人的动作行为。作者用拟人的修辞手法赋予“月光”人的行为，将月光“人格化”，使句子更生动，突出月光的形象---温柔，多情。同时体现出那对情海中的男女完美，完满的爱情。因为在大家的印象中，中秋的月亮就是代表这完满，而这一对情人却接受了月光的祝福，他们的爱情必然完满。另外，作者还用修辞的手法突出月光祥和，柔情的另一面。“一家别院的楼上，窗帘不曾放下，几枝肥满的桐叶正在玻璃上摇曳斗趣，月光窥见了窗内一张小蚊床上紫纱帐里，安眠着一个安琪儿似的小孩，她轻轻挨进身去，在他温软的眼睫上，嫩桃似的腮上，抚摩了一会。又将她银色的纤指，理齐了他脐圆的额发，蔼然微哂着，又回她的云海去了。（1999，p3) “窥” ，“挨进” ，“抚摩”， “理”， “微哂”这些动词都是人具有的行为动作。作者将“月光”拟人化，使文章更加生动，有趣，增强了文章的可读性，同时也凸现了月光的温柔，慈祥的特点。 “手指”更加不是月光所拥有的，这里作者将月光当作人来写，所以这句句子是拟人句。真的很佩服作者能如此服帖的使用拟人的修辞手法来描绘出月亮的特征，使本来无趣的景象写得如此生动自然。如果换我来写，一定写的枯燥无味吧。也许我就用这么一句话来描述：“月光洒在小孩的脸上，然后又离开了。”如果作者看到我这么形容他心目中“至高无上”的月光，也许会气得骂我不懂风情，骂我不懂欣赏月的美吧！如果读者看到我这么写，早就为这枯燥无味的字句而打瞌睡了。而徐志摩却能用拟人的修辞手法将我无话可写的月光形容的如此栩栩如生，生动活泼。这句句子不仅仅使用了拟人的修辞手法，作者还运用了比喻中的明喻修辞手法来将“小孩”比喻成“安琪儿”，将“腮”比喻成“桃花”。比喻的作用在此把小孩的形象描绘得更加生动，使其形象更突出，使其更抽象化。由这画面，我们可以想象到蚊帐内的小孩是多么的可爱，可爱得就像一个拥有粉嫩的脸颊的天使。
从《印度洋上的秋思》这一篇散文中我们可以看出徐志摩使用拟人修辞手法的功力已经达到了炉火纯青的地步。他用拟人的修辞手法将手下描绘的景与物都赋予了生命，使语言流畅，优美而贴切；使笔下描绘的景与物栩栩如生，生动活泼。他写的景色让人有置身于其境的感觉，浪漫多情，让人情随之跳动。

The name that can be named is not the eternal name.

When they appear they are named differently.

Their sameness is the mystery,
Mystery within mystery;

The door to all marvels.

All in the world recognize the beautiful as beautiful.
Herein lies ugliness.

Being and non-being produce each other.
Difficulty and ease bring about each other.
Long and short delimit each other.
High and low rest on each other.
Sound and voice harmonize each other.
Front and back follow each other.

Therefore the sage abides in the condition of wu-wei (unattached action).
And carries out the wordless teaching.
Here, the myriad things are made, yet not separated.

Therefore the sage produces without possessing,
Acts without expectations
And accomplishes without abiding in her accomplishments.

It is precisely because she does not abide in them
That they never leave her.

不尚贤，使民不争；不贵难得之货，使民不为盗；不见可欲，使民心不乱。

If you do not adulate the worthy, you will make others non-contentious.
If you do not value rare treasures, you will stop others from stealing.
If people do not see desirables, they will not be agitated.

Therefore, when the sage governs,
He clears peoples minds,
Fills their bellies,
Weakens their ambition and
Strengthens their bones.

If the people are kept without cleverness and desire
It will make the intellectuals not dare to meddle.

Acting without contrivance, there is no lack of manageability.

And prior to the primeval Lord-on-high.

Therefore, they are always alive.
Hence, the sage puts herself last and is first.
She is outside herself and therefore her self lasts.

Is it not through her selflessness
That she is able to perfect herself?

上善若水。水善利万物而不争，处众人之所恶，故几于道。

Yet it abides in places that men hate.
Therefore it is like the Tao.

For dwelling, the Earth is good.
For the mind, depth is good.
The goodness of giving is in the timing.
The goodness of speech is in honesty.
In government, self-mastery is good.
In handling affairs, ability is good.

If you do not wrangle, you will not be blamed.

持而盈之，不如其已；揣而锐之，不可长保。

Boasting of wealth and virtue brings your demise.
After finishing the work, withdraw.

This is the Way of Heaven.

Are you able to avoid separation?
Focusing your energy on the release of tension:
Can you be like an infant?
In purifying your insight:
Can you un-obstruct it?

Can you avoid over-manipulation?
In opening and closing the gate of Heaven:
Can you be the female?
In illuminating the whole universe:
Can you be free of rationality?

Give birth to it and nourish it.
Produce it but don't possess it.
Act without expectation.
Excel, but don't take charge.

This is called Mysterious Virtue.

Thirty spokes join together in the hub.
It is because of what is not there that the cart is useful.
Clay is formed into a vessel.
It is because of its emptiness that the vessel is useful.
Cut doors and windows to make a room.
It is because of its emptiness that the room is useful.
Therefore, what is present is used for profit.

But it is in absence that there is usefulness.

五色令人目盲；五音令人耳聋；五味令人口爽；

驰骋畋猎，令人心发狂；难得之货，令人行妨。

The five flavors confuse our taste.
Racing and hunting madden our minds.
Possessing rare treasures brings about harmful behavior.
Therefore the sage regards his center, and not his eyes.

He lets go of that and chooses this.

宠辱若惊，贵大患若身。

Accept humiliation as a surprise.
Value great misfortune as your own self.

What do I mean by "Accept humiliation as a surprise"?
When you are humble
Attainment is a surprise
And so is loss.
That's why I say, "Accept humiliation as a surprise."

What do I mean by "Value great misfortune as your own self"?

If I have no self, how could I experience misfortune?

Therefore, if you dedicate your life for the benefit of the world,
You can rely on the world.
If you love dedicating yourself in this way,
You can be entrusted with the world.

视之不见，名曰夷；听之不闻，名曰希；搏之不得，名曰微。

此三者不可致诘，故混而为一。

其上不□，其下不昧。绳绳兮不可名，复归于物。

是谓无状之状，无物之象，是谓惚恍。迎之不见其首，随之不见其后。

执古之道，以御今之有。能知古始，是谓道纪。

Look for it, it cannot be seen.
It is called the distant.
Listen for it, it cannot be heard.
It is called the rare.
Reach for it, it cannot be gotten.
It is called the subtle.
These three ultimately cannot be fathomed.
Therefore they join to become one.

Its top is not bright;
Its bottom is not dark;
Existing continuously, it cannot be named and it returns to no-thingness.

Thus, it is called the formless form,
The image of no-thing.
This is called the most obscure.

Go to meet it, you cannot see its face.
Follow it, you cannot see its back.

By holding to the ancient Tao
You can manage present existence
And know the primordial beginning.

This is called the very beginning thread of the Tao.

古之善为道者，微妙玄通，深不可识。夫唯不可识，故强为之容：

孰能浊以静之徐清？孰能安以动之徐生？

保此道者，不欲盈。夫唯不盈，故能蔽而新成。

The ancient masters of the Tao
Had subtle marvelous mystic penetration
A depth that cannot be known.
It is exactly because that they are unknowable
That we are forced to pay attention to their appearance.
Hesitant, like one crossing an ice-covered river.
Ready, like one afraid of his neighbors on all sides.
Dignified, like a guest.
Loose, like ice about to melt.
Straightforward, like an uncarved block of wood.
Open, like a valley.
Obscure, like muddy water.

Who can be muddled, and use clarity to gradually become lucid?
Who can be calm, and use constant application for eventual success?

The one who holds to this path does not crave fulfillment.
Precisely because he does not crave fulfillment
He can be shattered
And do without quick restitution.

致虚极，守静笃。万物并作，吾以观复。

夫物芸芸，各复归其根。归根曰静，静曰复命。复命曰常，知常曰明。不知常，妄作凶。

知常容，容乃公，公乃全，全乃天，天乃道，道乃久，没身不殆。

Effect emptiness to the extreme.
Keep stillness whole.
Myriad things act in concert.
I therefore watch their return.
All things flourish and each returns to its root.

Returning to the root is called quietude.
Quietude is called returning to life.
Return to life is called constant.
Knowing this constant is called illumination.
Acting arbitrarily without knowing the constant is harmful.
Knowing the constant is receptivity, which is impartial.

Impartiality is kingship.
Kingship is Heaven.
Heaven is Tao
Tao is eternal.

Though you lose the body, you do not die.

太上，不知有之；其次，亲而誉之；其次，畏之；其次，侮之。信不足焉，有不信焉。

悠兮其贵言。功成事遂，百姓皆谓：「我自然」。

From great antiquity forth they have known and possessed it.
Those of the next level loved and praised it.
The next were in awe of it.
And the next despised it.

If you lack sincerity no one will believe you.

How careful she is with her precious words!
When her work is complete and her job is finished,
Everybody says: "We did it!"

大道废，有仁义；智慧出，有大伪；六亲不和，有孝慈；国家昏乱，有忠臣。

When the great Tao perishes
There is jen and justice.
When intelligence is manifest
There is great deception.
When the six relationships are not in harmony
There is filial piety and compassion.
When the country is in chaos
Loyal ministers appear.

《老子》第十九章

绝圣弃智，民利百倍；绝仁弃义，民复孝慈；绝巧弃利，盗贼无有。

此三者以为文，不足。故令有所属：见素抱朴，少思寡欲，绝学无忧。

Get rid of "holiness" and abandon "wisdom"
and the people will benefit a hundredfold.

Get rid of "altruism" and abandon "Justice"
and the people will return to filial piety and compassion.

Get rid of cleverness and abandon profit, and thieves and gangsters will not exist.

Since the above three are merely words, they are not sufficient.
Therefore there must be something to include them all.

See the origin and keep the non-differentiated state.
Lessen selfishness and decrease desire.

唯之与阿，相去几何？美之与恶，相去若何？人之所畏，不可不畏。荒兮，其未央哉！

众人熙熙，如享太牢，如春登台。

众人皆有馀，而我独若遗。我愚人之心也哉！

俗人昭昭，我独昏昏。俗人察察，我独闷闷。众人皆有以，而我独顽且鄙。

我独异于人，而贵食母。

Get rid of "learning" and there will be no anxiety.
How much difference is there between "yes" and "no"?
How far removed from each other are "good" and "evil"?
Yet what the people are in awe of cannot be disregarded.

I am scattered, never having been in a comfortable center.
All the people enjoy themselves, as if they are at the festival of the great sacrifice,
Or climbing the Spring Platform.
I alone remain, not yet having shown myself.
Like an infant who has not yet laughed.
Weary, like one despairing of no home to return to.

All the people enjoy extra
While I have left everything behind.
I am ignorant of the minds of others.
So dull!
While average people are clear and bright, I alone am obscure.
Average people know everything.
To me alone all seems covered.
So flat!
Like the ocean.
Blowing around!
It seems there is no place to rest.
Everybody has a goal in mind.
I alone am as ignorant as a bumpkin.
I alone differ from people.

I enjoy being nourished by the mother.

孔德之容，惟道是从。

道之为物，惟恍惟惚。惚兮恍兮，其中有象；恍兮惚兮，其中有物。

自今及古，其名不去，以阅众甫。吾何以知众甫之状哉？以此。

The form of great virtue is something that only the Tao can follow.
The Tao as a "thing" is only vague and obscure.
How obscure! How vague! In it there is form.
How vague! How obscure! In it are things.
How deep! How dark! In it there is an essence.

The essence is so real--therein is belief.

From the present to antiquity, its name has never left it, so we can examine all origins.
How do I know the form of all origins?

By this.

《老子》第二十二章

曲则全，枉则直，洼则盈，敝则新，少则多，多则惑。

是以圣人抱一为天下式。不自见，故明；不自是，故彰；不自伐，故有功；不自矜，故长。

夫唯不争，故天下莫能与之争。古之所谓「曲则全」者，岂虚言哉！诚全而归之。

The imperfect is completed.
The crooked is straightened.
The empty is filled.
The old is renewed.
With few there is attainment.
With much there is confusion.
Therefore the sage grasps the one and becomes the model for all.

She does not show herself, and therefore is apparent.
She does not affirm herself, and therefore is acknowledged.
She does not boast and therefore has merit.
She does not strive and is therefore successful.
It is exactly because she does not contend, that nobody can contend with her.

How could the ancient saying, "The imperfect is completed" be regarded as empty talk?

Believe in the complete and return to it.

希言自然。

故飘风不终朝，骤雨不终日。孰为此者？天地。天地尚不能久，而况于人乎？

故从事于道者，同于道；德者，同于德；失者，同于失。

同于道者，道亦乐得之；同于德者，德亦乐得之；同于失者，失亦乐得之。

信不足焉，有不信焉。

To speak little is natural.
Therefore a gale does not blow a whole morning
Nor does a downpour last a whole day.
Who does these things? Heaven and Earth.
If even Heaven and Earth cannot force perfect continuity
How can people expect to?

Therefore there is such a thing as aligning one's actions with the Tao.
If you accord with the Tao you become one with it.
If you accord with virtue you become one with it.
If you accord with loss you become one with it.

The Tao accepts this accordance gladly.
Virtue accepts this accordance gladly.
Loss also accepts accordance gladly.

If you are untrustworthy, people will not trust you.

企者不立；跨者不行；自见者不明；自是者不彰；自伐者无功；自矜者不长。

其在道也，曰：馀食赘形。物或恶之，故有道者不处。

Standing on tiptoe, you are unsteady.
Straddle-legged, you cannot go.
If you show yourself, you will not be seen.
If you affirm yourself, you will not shine.
If you boast, you will have no merit.
If you promote yourself, you will have no success.

Those who abide in the Tao call these

Leftover food and wasted action
And all things dislike them.

Therefore the person of the Tao does not act like this.

有物混成，先天地生。寂兮寥兮，独立而不改，周行而不殆，可以为天地母。

吾不知其名，强字之曰道，强为之名曰大。大曰逝，逝曰远，远曰反。

故道大，天大，地大，人亦大。域中有四大，而人居其一焉。

人法地，地法天，天法道，道法自然。

There is something that is perfect in its disorder
Which is born before Heaven and Earth.

So silent and desolate! It establishes itself without renewal.
Functions universally without lapse.
We can regard it as the Mother of Everything.

I don't know its name.

Hence, when forced to name it, I call it "Tao."
When forced to categorize it, I call it "great."

Greatness entails transcendence.
Transcendence entails going-far.
Going-far entails return.

Hence, Tao is great, Heaven is great, the Earth is great
And the human is also great.

Within our realm there are four greatnesses and the human being is one of them.

Human beings follow the Earth.
Earth follows Heaven
Heaven follows the Tao
The Tao follows the way things are.

重为轻根，静为躁君。

是以君子终日行不离辎重。虽有荣观，燕处超然。奈何万乘之主，而以身轻天下？

轻则失根，躁则失君。

Heaviness is the root of lightness.
Composure is the ruler of instability.
Therefore the sage travels all day
Without putting down his heavy load.
Though there may be spectacles to see
He easily passes them by.

This being so
How could the ruler of a large state
Be so concerned with himself as to ignore the people?

If you take them lightly you will lose your roots.
If you are unstable, you will lose your rulership.

《老子》第二十七章

善行无辙迹，善言无瑕谪；善数不用筹策；善闭无关楗而不可开，善结无绳约而不可解。

是以圣人常善救人，故无弃人；常善救物，故无弃物。是谓袭明。

故善人者，不善人之师；不善人者，善人之资。不贵其师，不爱其资，虽智大迷，是谓要妙。

A good traveler leaves no tracks.
Good speech lacks faultfinding.
A good counter needs no calculator.
A well-shut door will stay closed without a latch.
Skillful fastening will stay tied without knots.

It is in this manner that the sage is always skillful in elevating people.
Therefore she does not discard anybody.

She is always skillful in helping things
Therefore she does not discard anything.
This is called "the actualization of her luminosity."

Hence, the good are the teachers of the not-so-good.
And the not-so-good are the charges of the good.

Not valuing your teacher or not loving your students:
Even if you are smart, you are gravely in error.

This is called Essential Subtlety.

知其雄，守其雌，为天下溪。为天下溪，常德不离，复归于婴儿。

知其白，守其辱，为天下谷。为天下谷，常德乃足，复归于朴。

朴散则为器，圣人用之，则为官长，故大智不割。

Know the Masculine, cleave to the Feminine
Be the valley for everyone.
Being the valley for everyone
You are always in virtue without lapse
And you return to infancy.

Know the White, cleave to the Black
Be a model for everyone.
Being the model for everyone
You are always in virtue and free from error
You return to limitlessness.
Know Glory but cleave to Humiliation
Be the valley for everyone.
When your constancy in virtue is complete
You return to the state of the "uncarved block."

The block is cut into implements.
The sage uses them to fulfill roles.

Therefore the great tailor does not cut.

《老子》第二十九章

将欲取天下而为之，吾见其不得已。天下神器，不可为也，不可执也。为者败之，执者失之。

是以圣人无为，故无败；无执，故无失。

夫物或行或随；或嘘或吹；或强或羸；或载或隳。

是以圣人去甚，去奢，去泰。

If you want to grab the world and run it
I can see that you will not succeed.
The world is a spiritual vessel, which can't be controlled.

Manipulators mess things up.
Grabbers lose it. Therefore:

Sometimes you lead
Sometimes you follow
Sometimes you are stifled
Sometimes you breathe easy
Sometimes you are strong
Sometimes you are weak
Sometimes you destroy
And sometimes you are destroyed.

Hence, the sage shuns excess
Shuns grandiosity
Shuns arrogance.

《老子》第三十章

以道佐人主者，不以兵强天下。其事好远。师之所处，荆棘生焉。大军之后，必有凶年。

善有果而已，不以取强。果而勿矜，果而勿伐，果而勿骄。果而不得已，果而勿强。

物壮则老，是谓不道，不道早已。

If you used the Tao as a principle for ruling
You would not dominate the people by military force.

What goes around comes around.

Where the general has camped
Thorns and brambles grow.
In the wake of a great army
Come years of famine.
If you know what you are doing
You will do what is necessary and stop there.

Accomplish but don't boast
Accomplish without show
Accomplish without arrogance
Accomplish without grabbing
Accomplish without forcing.

When things flourish they decline.

This is called non-Tao
The non-Tao is short-lived.

《老子》第三十一章

夫兵者，不祥之器，物或恶之，故有道者不处。

君子居则贵左，用兵则贵右。兵者不祥之器，非君子之器，不得已而用之，恬淡为上。

胜而不美，而美之者，是乐杀人。夫乐杀人者，则不可得志于天下矣。

吉事尚左，凶事尚右。偏将军居左，上将军居右，言以丧礼处之。

杀人之众，以悲哀泣之，战胜以丧礼处之。

Sharp weapons are inauspicious instruments.
Everyone hates them.
Therefore the man of the Tao is not comfortable with them.

In the domestic affairs of the gentleman
The left is the position of honor.
In military affairs the right is the position of honor.
Since weapons are inauspicious instruments, they are not the instruments of the gentleman
So he uses them without enjoyment
And values plainness.

Victory is never sweet.

Those for whom victory is sweet
Are those who enjoy killing.
If you enjoy killing, you cannot gain the trust of the people.

On auspicious occasions the place of honor is on the left.
On inauspicious occasions the place of honor is on the right.
The lieutenant commander stands on the left.
The commander-in-chief stands on the right.
And they speak, using the funerary rites to bury them.

The common people, from whom all the dead have come
Weep in lamentation.
The victors bury them with funerary rites.

道常无名朴。虽小，天下莫能臣。侯王若能守之，万物将自宾。

天地相合，以降甘露，民莫之令而自均。

始制有名，名亦既有，夫亦将知止，知止可以不殆。

譬道之在天下，犹川谷之于江海。

The Tao is always nameless.
And even though a sapling might be small
No one can make it be his subject.
If rulers could embody this principle
The myriad things would follow on their own.
Heaven and Earth would be in perfect accord
And rain sweet dew.

People, unable to deal with It on its own terms
Make adjustments;
And so you have the beginning of division into names.
Since there are already plenty of names
You should know where to stop.
Knowing where to stop, you can avoid danger.

The Tao's existence in the world

Is like valley streams running into the rivers and seas.

知人者智，自知者明。胜人者有力，自胜者强。

知足者富。强行者有志。不失其所者久。死而不亡者寿。

If you understand others you are smart.
If you understand yourself you are illuminated.
If you overcome others you are powerful.
If you overcome yourself you have strength.
If you know how to be satisfied you are rich.
If you can act with vigor, you have a will.
If you don't lose your objectives you can be long-lasting.

If you die without loss, you are eternal.

大道泛兮，其可左右。万物恃之以生而不辞，功成而不有。

衣养万物而不为主，可名于小；万物归焉而不为主，可名为大。

以其终不自为大，故能成其大。

The Tao is like a great flooding river. How can it be directed to the left or right? The myriad things rely on it for their life but do not distinguish it.
It brings to completion but cannot be said to exist.
It clothes and feeds all things without lording over them.

It is always desireless, so we call it "the small."
The myriad things return to it and it doesn't exact lordship
Thus it can be called "great."
Till the end, it does not regard itself as Great.

Therefore it actualizes its greatness.

执大象，天下往。往而不害，安平泰。

乐与饵，过客止。道之出口，淡乎其无味，视之不足见，听之不足闻，用之不足既。

Holding to the Great Form
All pass away.
They pass away unharmed, resting in Great Peace.

It is for food and music that the passing traveler stops.

When the Tao appears from its opening
It is so subtle, it has no taste.
Look at it, you cannot see it.
Listen, you cannot hear it.
Use it

You cannot exhaust it.

将欲歙之，必故张之；将欲弱之，必故强之；将欲废之，必故兴之；将欲取之，必故与之。

是谓微明。柔弱胜刚强。鱼不可脱于渊，国之利器不可以示人。

That which will be shrunk
Must first be stretched.
That which will be weakened
Must first be strengthened.
That which will be torn down
Must first be raised up.
That which will be taken
Must first be given.

This is called "subtle illumination."

The gentle and soft overcomes the hard and aggressive.

A fish cannot leave the water.

The country's potent weapons
Should not be shown to its people.

《老子》第三十七章

道常无为而无不为。侯王若能守之，万物将自化。

化而欲作，吾将镇之以无名之朴。镇之以无名之朴，夫将不欲。不欲以静，天下将自正。

The Tao is always "not-doing"
Yet there is nothing it doesn't do.
If the ruler is able to embody it
Everything will naturally change.

Being changed, they desire to act.

So I must restrain them, using the nameless "uncarved block (original mind)."

Using the nameless uncarved block
They become desireless.
Desireless, they are tranquil and
All-under-Heaven is naturally settled.

《老子》第三十八章

上德不德，是以有德；下德不失德，是以无德。上德无为而无以为；下德无为而有以为。

上仁为之而无以为；上义为之而有以为。上礼为之而莫之应，则攘臂而扔之。

故失道而后德，失德而后仁，失仁而后义，失义而后礼。夫礼者，忠信之薄，而乱之首。

前识者，道之华，而愚之始。是以大丈夫处其厚，不居其薄；处其实，不居其华。故去彼取此。

True virtue is not virtuous
Therefore it has virtue.
Superficial virtue never fails to be virtuous
Therefore it has no virtue.

True virtue does not "act"
And has no intentions.
Superficial virtue "acts"
And always has intentions.
True jen "acts"
But has no intentions.
True righteousness "acts"
But but has intentions.
True propriety "acts" and if you don't respond

They will roll up their sleeves and threaten you.

Thus, when the Tao is lost there is virtue
When virtue is lost there is jen
When jen is lost there is Justice
And when Justice is lost there is propriety.

Now "propriety" is the external appearance of loyalty and sincerity
And the beginning of disorder.

Occult abilities are just flowers of the Tao
And the beginning of foolishness.

Therefore the Master dwells in the substantial
And not in the superficial.
Rests in the fruit and not in the flower.

So let go of that and grasp this.

《老子》第三十九章

昔之得一者：天得一以清；地得一以宁；神得一以灵；谷得一以生；侯得一以为天下正。

其致之也，谓天无以清，将恐裂；地无以宁，将恐废；神无以灵，将恐歇；

谷无以盈，将恐竭；万物无以生，将恐灭；侯王无以正，将恐蹶。

故贵以贱为本，高以下为基。是以侯王自称孤、寡、不谷。此非以贱为本邪？非乎？

故致誉无誉。是故不欲□□如玉，珞珞如石。

These in the past have attained wholeness:

Heaven attains wholeness with its clarity;
The Earth attains wholeness with its firmness;
The Spirit attains wholeness with its transcendence;
The Valley attain wholeness when filled;
The Myriad Things attain wholeness in life;
The Ruler attains wholeness in the correct governance of the people.

In effecting this:
If Heaven lacked clarity it would be divided;
If the Earth lacked firmness it would fly away;
If the spirit lacked transcendence it would be exhausted;
If the valley lacked fullness it would be depleted;
If the myriad things lacked life they would vanish.
If the ruler lacks nobility and loftiness he will be tripped up.

Hence
Nobility has lowliness as its root
The High has the Low as its base.
Thus the kings call themselves "the orphan, the lowly, the unworthy."

Is this not taking lowliness as the fundamental? Isn't it?

In this way you can bring about great effect without burden.
Not desiring the rarity of gems
Or the manyness of grains of sand.

反者道之动；弱者道之用。天下万物生于有，有生于无。

Return is the motion of the Tao.
Softening is its function.
All things in the cosmos arise from being.
Being arises from non-being.

《老子》第四十一章

上士闻道，勤而行之；中士闻道，若存若亡；下士闻道，大笑之。不笑不足以为道。

故建言有之：明道若昧；进道若退；夷道若□；上德若谷；广德若不足；建德若偷；质真若渝；

大白若辱；大方无隅；大器晚成；大音希声；大象无形；道隐无名。

夫唯道，善贷且成。

When superior students hear of the Tao
They strive to practice it.
When middling students hear of the Tao
They sometimes keep it and sometimes lose it.
When inferior students hear of the Tao
They have a big laugh.

But "not laughing" in itself is not sufficient to be called the Tao, and therefore it is said:

The sparkling Tao seems dark
Advancing in the Tao seems like regression.
Settling into the Tao seems rough.
True virtue is like a valley.
The immaculate seems humble.
Extensive virtue seems insufficient.
Established virtue seems deceptive.
The face of reality seems to change.
The great square has no corners.
Great ability takes a long time to perfect.
Great sound is hard to hear.
The great form has no shape.

The Tao is hidden and nameless.

This is exactly why the Tao is good at developing and perfecting.

道生一，一生二，二生三，三生万物。万物负阴而抱阳，冲气以为和。

人之所恶，唯孤、寡、不谷，而王公以为称。

故物或损之而益，或益之而损。

人之所教，我亦教之。强梁者不得其死，吾将以为教父。

The Tao produces one, one produces two.
The two produce the three and the three produce all things.
All things submit to yin and embrace yang.
They soften their energy to achieve harmony.

People hate to think of themselves as "orphan," "lowly," and "unworthy"
Yet the kings call themselves by these names.

Some lose and yet gain,
Others gain and yet lose.
That which is taught by the people
I also teach:
"The forceful do not choose their place of death."
I regard this as the father of all teachings.

天下之至柔，驰骋天下之至坚。无有入无间，吾是以知无为之有益。

不言之教，无为之益，天下希及之。

The softest thing in the world
Will overcome the hardest.

Therefore I know the benefit of unattached action.
The wordless teaching and unattached action

Are rarely seen.

名与身孰亲？身与货孰多？得与亡孰病？甚爱必大费；多藏必厚亡。

故知足不辱，知止不殆，可以长久。

Which is dearer, fame or your life?

Which is more painful, gain or loss?
Therefore we always pay a great price for excessive love
And suffer deep loss for great accumulation.
Knowing what is enough, you will not be humiliated.
Knowing where to stop, you will not be imperiled

And can be long-lasting.

大成若缺，其用不弊。大盈若冲，其用不穷。大直若屈，大巧若拙，大辩若讷。

静胜躁，寒胜热。清静为天下正。

Great perfection seems flawed, yet functions without a hitch.
Great fullness seems empty, yet functions without exhaustion.
Great straightness seems crooked,
Great skill seems clumsy,
Great eloquence seems stammering.

Excitement overcomes cold, stillness overcomes heat.
Clarity and stillness set everything right.

天下有道，却走马以粪。天下无道，戎马生于郊。

祸莫大于不知足；咎莫大于欲得。故知足之足，常足矣。

When the Tao prevails in the land
The horses leisurely graze and fertilize the ground.
When the Tao is lacking in the land
War horses are bred outside the city.
Natural disasters are not as bad as not knowing what is enough.
Loss is not as bad as wanting more.

Therefore the sufficiency that comes from knowing what is enough is an eternal sufficiency.

不出户，知天下；不窥牖，见天道。其出弥远，其知弥少。

是以圣人不行而知，不见而明，不为而成。

Without going out the door, knowing everything,

The further you go, the less you know.

The sage understands without having to go through the whole process.
She is famous without showing herself.
Is perfected without striving.

为学日益，为道日损。损之又损，以至于无为。

无为而无不为。取天下常以无事，及其有事，不足以取天下。

In studying, each day something is gained.
In following the Tao, each day something is lost.
Lost and again lost.
Until there is nothing left to do.
Not-doing, nothing is left undone.
You can possess the world by never manipulating it.
No matter how much you manipulate
You can never possess the world.

《老子》第四十九章

圣人常无心，以百姓心为心。

善者，吾善之；不善者，吾亦善之；德善。

信者，吾信之；不信者，吾亦信之；德信。

圣人在天下，歙歙焉，为天下浑其心，百姓皆注其耳目，圣人皆孩之。

The sage has no fixed mind,
She takes the mind of the people as her mind.

I treat the good as good, I also treat the evil as good.
This is true goodness.
I trust the trustworthy, I also trust the untrustworthy.
This is real trust.

When the sage lives with people, she harmonizes with them
And conceals her mind for them.
The sages treat them as their little children.

《老子》第五十章

出生入死。生之徒，十有三；死之徒，十有三；人之生，动之于死地，亦十有三。

夫何故？以其生之厚。

盖闻善摄生者，路行不遇兕虎，入军不被甲兵；无所投其角，虎无所用其爪，兵无所容其刃。

夫何故？以其无死地。

Coming into life and entering death,
The followers of life are three in ten.
The followers of death are three in ten.
Those whose life activity is their death ground are three in ten.
Why is this?
Because they live life grasping for its rich taste.

Now I have heard that those who are expert in handling life
Can travel the land without meeting tigers and rhinos,
Can enter battle without being wounded.
The rhino has no place to plant its horn,
The tiger has no place to place its claws,
Weapons find no place to receive their sharp edges.
Why?

Because he has no death-ground.

《老子》第五十一章

道生之，德畜之，物形之，势成之。是以万物莫不尊道而贵德。

道之尊，德之贵，夫莫之命而常自然。

故道生之，德畜之；长之育之；成之熟之；养之覆之。生而不有，为而不恃，长而不宰。

是谓玄德。

Tao gives birth to it,
Virtue rears it,
Materiality shapes it,
Activity perfects it.
Therefore, there are none of the myriad things who do not venerate the Tao or esteem its virtue.
This veneration of the Tao and esteeming of its virtue is something they do naturally, without being forced.
Therefore, Tao gives birth.
Its virtue rears, develops, raises, adjusts and disciplines,
Nourishes, covers and protects,
Produces but does not possess,
Acts without expectation,
Leads without forcing.

This is called "Mysterious Virtue."

《老子》第五十二章

天下有始，以为天下母。既得其母，以知其子，复守其母，没身不殆。

塞其兑，闭其门，终身不勤。开其兑，济其事，终身不救。见小曰明，守柔曰强。

用其光，复归其明，无遗身殃；是为袭常。

All things have a beginning, which we can regard as their Mother.
Knowing the mother, we can know its children.
Knowing the children, yet still cleaving to the mother
You can die without pain.

Stop up the holes
Shut the doors,
You can finish your life without anxiety.

Open the doors,
Increase your involvements,
In the end you can't be helped.

Seeing the subtle is called illumination.
Keeping flexible is called strength.
Use the illumination, but return to the light.
Don't bring harm to yourself.

This is called "practicing the eternal."

《老子》第五十三章

使我介然有知，行于大道，唯施是畏。大道甚夷，而人好径。

朝甚除，田甚芜，仓甚虚；服文采，带利剑，厌饮食，财货有馀；是为盗夸。非道也哉！

If I had just a little bit of wisdom
I should walk the Great Path and fear only straying from it.
Though the Way is quite broad
People love shortcuts.

The court is immaculate,
While the fields are overgrown with weeds,
And the granaries are empty.
They wear silk finery,
Carry sharp swords,
Sate themselves on food and drink
Having wealth in excess.
They are called thieving braggarts.

This is definitely not the Way.

善建者不拔，善抱者不脱，子孙以祭祀不辍。

修之于身，其德乃真；修之于家，其德乃馀；修之于乡，其德乃长；修之于邦，其德乃丰；

修之于天下，其德乃普。

故以身观身，以家观家，以乡观乡，以邦观邦，以天下观天下。吾何以知天下然哉？以此。

The well-established cannot be uprooted.
The well-grasped does not slip away.
Generation after generation carries out the ancestor worship without break.

Cultivate it in yourself and virtue will be real.
Cultivate it in the family and virtue will overflow.
Cultivate it in the town and virtue will be great.
Cultivate it in the country and virtue will abundant.
Cultivate it in the world and virtue will be everywhere.

Therefore, take yourself and observe yourself.
Take the family and observe the family.
Take the town and observe the town.
Take the country and observe the country.
Take the world and observe the world.

How do I know the world as it is?

By this.

含「德」之厚，比于赤子。毒虫不螫，猛兽不据，攫鸟不搏。骨弱筋柔而握固。

未知牝牡之合而□作，精之至也。终日号而不嗄，和之至也。

知和曰「常」，知常曰「明」。益生曰祥。心使气曰强。物壮则老，谓之不道，不道早已。

One who remains rich in virtuous power
Is like a newborn baby.
Bees, scorpions and venomous snakes do not bite it,
The wild beasts do not attack it,
Birds of prey do not sink their claws into it.
Though its bones are weak
And muscles soft,
Its grip is strong.
Without knowing of the blending of male and female
S/he is a perfect production,
The ultimate in vitality.
S/he cries all day without getting hoarse.
S/he is the ultimate in harmony.

Understanding harmony is called the Constant.
Knowing the Constant is called illumination.
Nourishing life is called blessing.
Having control of your breath is called strength.

After things blossom they decay, and
This is called the non-Tao.

The non-Tao expires quickly.

She who speaks does not know.
Close your holes, shut your doors,
Soften your sharpness, loosen your knots.
Soften your glare and merge with the everyday.

This is called mysteriously attaining oneness.

Though you cannot possess it, you are intimate with it
And at the same time, distant.
Though you cannot possess it, you are benefitted by it,
And harmed by it.
You cannot possess it, but are esteemed through it
And humbled by it.

Therefore the world values you.

Use fairness in governing the state.
Use surprise tactics in war.
Be unconcerned and you will have the world.
How do I know it is like this?
Because:
The more regulations there are,
The poorer people become.
The more people own lethal weapons,
The more darkened are the country and clans.
The more clever the people are,
The more extraordinary actions they take.
The more picky the laws are,
The more thieves and gangsters there are.

Therefore the sages say:
"I do not force my way and the people transform themselves.
I enjoy my serenity and the people correct themselves.
I do not interfere and the people enrich themselves.

I have no desires

And the people find their original mind.

When the government is laid back
The people are relaxed.
When the government is nitpicking
The people have anxiety.
Misfortune depends upon fortune.
Fortune conceals misfortune.
What has a definite delimitation?
Or abnormality?
The normal reverts to strangeness.
Goodness reverts to perversion.

People certainly have been confused for a long time.

Therefore the sage squares things without cutting.
Edges without separating.
Straightens without lining up.

Shines but does not glare.

There is nothing like frugality.
Only by being frugal can you recover quickly.
When you recover quickly you accumulate virtue.
Having accumulated virtue,
There is nothing you can't overcome.
When there is nothing you can't overcome
Who knows the limits of your capabilities?
These limits being unfathomable
You can possess the country.

The Mother who possesses the country can be long-living.
This is called "planting the roots deeply and firmly."

The way to long life and eternal vision.

Demons will have no power.

But their power will not harm people.

夫两者各得所欲，大者宜为下。

The great state should be like a river basin.
The mixing place of the world,
The feminine of the world.
The feminine always overcomes the masculine by softness
Because softness is lesser.
Therefore if a large state serves a small state
It will gain the small state.
If a small state serves a large state
It will gain the large state.

Therefore some serve in order to gain
And some gain despite their servitude.

The large state wants nothing more
Than to unite and feed its people.
The small state wants nothing more
Than to enter into the service of the right person.
Thus both get what they want.

Greatness lies in placing oneself below.

The Tao is hidden deeply in all things.
It is the treasure of the good
And the refuge of the not-so-good.
With skillful words you can be successful.
With honorable actions you can be included.

People may not be so good, but how can you deny them?

Therefore, even though there are great jewels brought in by teams of horses at the coronation of the emperor and the installation of the three princes,
This is not as good as staying where you are
And advancing in this Tao.

Why did the ancients so value the Tao?

You can't say that it was for seeking gain
Or to have punishments to deter crime.

Therefore it is the most prized in the world.

Get involved without manipulating.
Taste without tasting.
Make the great small,
The many, few.
Respond to anger with virtue.
Deal with difficulties while they are still easy.
Handle the great while it is still small.

The difficult problems in life
Always start off being simple.
Great affairs always start off being small.
Therefore the sage never deals with the great
And is able to actualize his greatness.

Now light words generate little belief,
Much ease turns into much difficulty.
Therefore the sage treats things as though they were difficult,

And hence, never has difficulty.

That which is at rest is easy to grasp.
That which has not yet come about is easy to plan for.
That which is fragile is easily broken.
That which is minute is easily scattered.
Handle things before they arise.
Manage affairs before they are in a mess.

A thick tree grows from a tiny seed.
A tall building arises from a mound of earth.
A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step.
Contriving, you are defeated;
Grasping, you lose.

The sage doesn't contrive, so she isn't beaten.
Not grasping, she doesn't lose.
When people are carrying out their projects
They usually blow it at the end.

If you are as careful at the end
As you were at the beginning,
You won't be disappointed.

Therefore the sage desires non-desire,
Does not value rare goods,
Studies the unlearnable
So that she can correct the mistakes of average people
And aid all things in manifesting their true nature

Without presuming to take the initiative.

The ancients who were skillful at the Tao
Did not illuminate the people
But rather kept them simple.
When the people are difficult to rule
It is because of their cleverness.
Therefore
If you use cleverness to rule the state
You are a robber of the state.
If you don't use cleverness to rule the state
You are a blessing to the state.

If you understand these two points, you know the proper norm for governing To be continuously understanding the proper norm is called
Mysterious Virtue.
How deep and far-reaching Mysterious Virtue is!
It makes all return

Until they reach the Great Norm.

The reason the river and sea can be regarded as
The rulers of all the valley streams
Is because of their being below them.
Therefore they can be their rulers.
So if you want to be over people
You must speak humbly to them.
If you want to lead them
You must place yourself behind them.

Thus the sage is positioned above
And the people do not feel oppressed.
He is in front and they feel nothing wrong.
Therefore they like to push him front and never resent him.

Since he does not contend

No one can contend with him.

The reason everybody calls my Tao great
Is because there is nothing quite like it.
It is exactly because it is great
That there is nothing quite like it.
If there were something that were consistently like it

How could it be small?

I have three treasures which I hold and cherish.
The first is compassion,
The second is frugality,
The third is not daring to put myself ahead of everybody.

Having compassion, I can be brave.
Having frugality, I can be generous.
Not daring to put myself ahead of everybody
I can take the time to perfect my abilities.
Now if I am brave without compassion
Generous without frugality, or
Go to the fore without putting my own concerns last,
I might as well be dead.

If you wage war with compassion you will win.
If you protect yourself with compassion you will be impervious.
Heaven will take care of you,

Protecting you with compassion.

If you are courageous in not-daring you will live.
Among these two, one is beneficial and the other is harmful.

Who understands the reason why Heaven dislikes what it dislikes?
Even the sage has difficulty in knowing this.

The Way of Heaven is to win easily without struggle.
To respond well without words,
To naturally come without special invitation,
To plan well without anxiety.

Heaven's net is vast.
It is loose.

Yet nothing slips through.

How will you scare them with death?
If you make the people continuously fear death
By seizing anybody who does something out of the ordinary
And killing them,
Who will dare to move?

There is always an official executioner to handle this.
If you play the role of the official executioner
It is like cutting wood in the capacity of Master Carpenter.

There are few who will not cut their hands.

Because their rulers have their own ends in mind.

The reason people take death lightly
Is because they want life to be rich.
Therefore they take death lightly.
It is only by not living for your own ends
That you can go beyond valuing life.

人之生也柔弱，其死也坚强。草木之生也柔脆，其死也枯槁。

At death they are hard and stiff.
When plants are alive they are soft and delicate.
When they die, they wither and dry up.
Therefore the hard and stiff are followers of death.
The gentle and soft are the followers of life.

Thus, if you are aggressive and stiff, you won't win.
When a tree is hard enough, it is cut. Therefore
The hard and big are lesser,
The gentle and soft are greater.

天之道，其犹张弓欤？高者抑之，下者举之；有馀者损之，不足者补之。

The Way of Heaven
Is like stretching a bow.
The top is pulled down,
The bottom is pulled up.
Excess string is removed
Where more is needed, it is added.

It is the Way of Heaven
To remove where there is excess
And add where there is lack.
The way of people is different:
They take away where there is need
And add where there is surplus.

Who can take his surplus and give it to the people?
Only one who possesses the Tao.

Therefore the sage acts without expectation.
Does not abide in his accomplishments.
Does not want to show his virtue.

Nothing in the world is softer than water,
Yet nothing is better at overcoming the hard and strong.
This is because nothing can alter it.

That the soft overcomes the hard
And the gentle overcomes the aggressive
Is something that everybody knows
But none can do themselves.
Therefore the sages say:
"The one who accepts the dirt of the state
Becomes its master.
The one who accepts its calamity
Becomes king of the world.

Truth seems contradictory.

And doesn't check up on the other person.

Thus virtuous officials keep their promise
And the crooked ones break it.

The Heavenly Tao has no favorites:

It raises up the Good.

Let there be a small country with few people,
Who, even having much machinery, don't use it.
Who take death seriously and don't wander far away.
Even though they have boats and carriages, they never ride in them.
Having armor and weapons, they never go to war.
Let them return to measurement by tying knots in rope.

Sweeten their food, give them nice clothes, a peaceful abode and a relaxed life.
Even though the next country can be seen and its doges and chickens can be heard,

The people will grow old and die without visiting each others land.

The one who really knows is not broadly learned,

The way of Heaven is to help and not harm.

The first time I saw a lepers was on a day in a fall. The alley was in To the west of my home was an alley, where . Tthere was a stone mill in the alley. There was aA family lived behind the stone mill. Zhang LaoSi was the master head of his the family and his wife was a leper. But she had been was hiding at home, so very a few people saw had seen her. Her son was Zhang DaLi. At that time, there was no grinding machine grinder in the countryside. The food, such as: corns , dried melon and fruits, all of them must be grinded on at the stone mill. My second elder brother was Zhang DaLi’s pawnfriend, so he always noticed Zhang DaLi when we needed grinded food, he always asked and let him to book hold the mill. I went to Zhang DaLi;’s home once with my second elder brother. I wished that I could hold my breath when I walked into his yard. His family had three thatched cottages and it they were all was very dark inside the house. DaLi lived alone in the west house. His mother lived in the east house. DaLi’s father lived on the a brick-bed in raise-the room where he kept the livestock. and hHe never go went home to sleep. In On the middle of the tie beam of the main cottage, there were several dens of swallows. We were afraid to venture into the east house when we heard a woman who was making some strange coughing noisein an unpleasant falsetto. It The house was very dark in the house. A suffocating musty smell of mildew assailed us. It looked likethe nostrils as there had were ghosts. At that time, I watched Zhang DaLi show off his shooting skill performed guns with my second elder brother at that time. He made a gun by himself, with wooden handle, bullet shell to be tubeas the barrel, rubber handsbands, and steel wire as s to do the triggering device. The tube cartridge was filled with explosive of powers which were peeling from the firecrackers. The powers explosive was were mixed with grain sorghum. , iIt said it could shoot down sparrows. The tube barrel was stopped stuffed up with cotton. DaLi held that gun, standing in his yard. He let asked us to step back, began to posed, and aimed a the gun at a sparrow,. He pulled the triggerhug the gun. There was a loud sound,. tThe gun of the handle, the bullet shell exploded in pieces and the sparrows flied away. DaLi quickly stuffed plugged his bloody hand which was the skin ruptures and the flesh bursts into his pocket. He remained composed and said: The experiment failed.s, tThe powers are explosive was not good,. nNext time I would try to use the good powers better explosive and try again. At this moment, there was a very perverse voice yelled from in the house teasing: Go to hell. What a poor guy you are! This voice sounded hoarseiness and cold,. iIt gave me a very terrible impression. There was a time when I went to grind melons. It was hot, so I took oof the overcoat and put it on the stone next to the mill. The overcoat had forgotten wWhen I finished grinding, I left without the coat. I did not know I lost the overcoat after I went home, until the weather got turned cold then I knew the overcoat was lost. The people in the family were blaming teasing at me., They said don’t wear it if I lost it, I would have to and just got take the cold. We were Just too poor at that time, and that was the only overcoat. , have to got cold , bared the back I remained inadequately clothed until the snow were was everywhere, and the skin got turned pale. There was a day when I went to push use the mill again. The female leper came was out of the house. Of course she did not have a look good looking, but her hands was were holding my overcoat. That overcoat with thick cloth, I saw my overcoat recognized it at first glance. She said with to my mother: “Is this your third child’s overcoat? ” To be too late to listen Before my mother’s answered, I answeredsaid: “This is my overcoat.” She said: “ I picked it up from the side of the stone mill, washed it and kept it,. there was nNo people came to claim pick it up for a few months. ” I took the overcoat over and put it on. My body I felt warm and I felt happy. My Mmother said: “ It is fortunate thatYou should thank your aunt,; otherwise you bare your back andhave to endure the cold weather in this winter. ” Returned Back home, my sister asked me to take off the overcoat and watchwashed it again. 对于我自己的决定,我从来都没有后悔过.但是最近我脑海不断盘旋着"如果一切从来,我还会这么做吗?"我第一次不敢再对自己肯定的大声说出:"我永不后悔".我真的不后悔自己说下的决定吗?说真的,我有一点点的后悔,但是有时候并不是后悔就能改变的.我如何去怪自己后悔莫及的选择.最近想了很多.人不能活在自责中,责备也改不了什么.既然决定是自己下的,为什么自己不选择继续走下去改变未知的路.或许后悔了,或许跌到了.但至少走过了,吸取了教训,这不也是宝贵的一课吗?或许通向未来的是一条光明大道.现在后悔了,而去放弃.绝对有一天会怪自己怎么没有勇气走下去而活在自责中.如果一切能从来,也许未来就不一定,可是又有谁知道未来呢?世人唱说:"世界没有后悔的药."既然没有,我们为什么常活在如果一切能重来的痴想中呢?早点醒过来吧,继续用自己的双手去改变未来.坚强的走下去.

The women in the past were not always judged fairly. In the short story “Hills Like White Elephant” by Ernest Hemingway, the author uses symbolism and dialogue to show that in the pass society, females are being used as nothing but sex symbols, the man in a relationship is dominant to a woman.

In the short story “Hills Like White Ele1phants” by Ernest Hemingway, One important idea in this short story is that in the pass society, females are being used as nothing but sex symbols. Throughout this story, we know that two characters love drinking beer, although Jin is pregnant. They seem to have nothing in their life but sex and drinking. They drink a lot and they spent nights at hotels. It means they don’t care about their unborn child because they love travel and they don’t have a certain relationship. If Jin keeps the child, it will affect their relationship. From the story, we know Jig is pregnant and the man is trying to convince her to get an abortion. For example, the writer states: “It’s really an awfully simple operation, Jig. I know you wouldn’t mind it, Jig. It’s really not anything. It’s just to let the air in.” This quote illustrates an example of the dialogue that describes how the man convinces the woman to get an abortion. By using the word “operation”, it shows the reader that the operation is about abortion. The man wants his girlfriend to give up their unborn child by having an abortion. He convinces her that the operation is a “simple operation,” all they do is “let the air in.” This shows that the man is selfish and he doesn’t care about the girl’s health. This story takes place in 1939 in Spain. It is not legal to do an abortion and it is very dangerous. Although the man knows abortion is very dangerous, he still tries to convince his girlfriend to get an abortion. He even says that the operation is very simple and easy. It shows that the females never get respect from the man in the pass society, they are used as nothing but sex symbols. Another quote that supports this literary element states, “And if I do it you’ll be happy and things will be like they were and you’ll love me?” “I love you now. You know I love you” This also an example of dialogue because the writer is showing us the girl will have the abortion so the man will be happy and love her again. She is afraid that their relationship will fail if she doesn’t get an abortion. She asks him if he will love her again if she has the abortion. As the conversation goes on, the girl decides to get the abortion and she says: “…..But I don’t care about me. And I’ll do it and then everything will be fine.” This quotes shows that the girl ignores her feelings and do something to let her boyfriend to be happy. In the relationship, the man is dominant to a woman. Also, the author states: “….I don’t want anybody but you. I don’t want any one else. And I know it’s perfectly simple.” This quote shows the reader that the man is selfish, he only wants the woman and he doesn’t want to take the responsibility for their unborn child. He only wants to get advantages from the girl and he doesn’t want to take any responsibility in their relationship. These examples express that in the pass society, females are being used as nothing but sex symbols, and the man in a relationship is dominant to a woman.

Throughout the story, Ernest Hemingway use dialogue to express the relationship between the woman and the man, the man in a relationship is dominant to a woman. The author states: “if you don’t want to you don’t have to. I wouldn’t have you do it if you didn’t want to. But I know it’s perfectly simple.” He doesn’t really mean it. The quote illustrates an example for dialogue that shows the man continues to convince the girl to get an abortion. This quotes sounds that the man gives an opportunity the girl to make the decision, but girl does not really have the situation to do so. The man still continues to convince the girl to do the abortion and he describes “it’s perfectly simple.” He continually pushes her to do the abortion even she does not want to .He doesn’t really give the opportunity to the girl to make another decision without having an abortion. He is dominant her girlfriend in their relationship.

In the beginning of the story, Jin and her boyfriend are waiting for the train to Madrid in a station. The train tracks in opposite direction. It is symbolizing Jin and her boyfriend are facing an important decision in their life-having an abortion or not. Jin wants to keep the child, but her boyfriend wants her to have an abortion. From the text, we also know that the train is an “express train” that comes from Ebro to Madrid. The train is stopping only for two minutes. The writes states “It stopped at this junction for two minutes and went to Madrid.” This quote illustrates an example for symbolism that Jin has a bad relationship with her boyfriend. By using the word “ two minutes,” the author shows us that Jig and her boy friend has a very short time to make the decision that they will keep their unborn child or has the abortion. The short time symbolizes they have a bad relationship and their relationship will end weather the girl do the abortion or not. Though the title “Hills Like White Elephants”, the author uses symbolism to show that two different point of view for the abortion. “White elephant” is an idiom that refers to useless or unwanted things. It the short story “Hills Like White Elephants” by Ernest Hemingway, “white elephant” symbolizes the woman will do the abortion to give up the unborn child and they don’t want to unborn child to effect their relationship. In the other hand, “white elephant” symbolizes the shape of a pregnant woman. The woman in the story sees pregnant is lovely. It shows that she doesn’t want to get an abortion. But the man has the opposite opinion for pregnant. He says: “ I’ve never seen one.” The word “one” here means the white elephants. This quote illustrates an example for symbolism that the man doesn’t want the woman is pregnant. The word “White Elephants” is symbolizing the unborn child and the woman. It shows us that the man will ask the woman to get an abortion to give up their unborn child. Also, their relationship will be end after the woman has an abortion. At the end of the story, the author states “He picked up the two heavy bags and carried them around the station to the other tracks.” This quote illustrates an example for the symbolism that shows the reader that the man is making the decision to give up their unborn child. By using the word “Two heavy bags”, it symbolizes his girlfriend and his unborn child. It shows us the woman does not have the choice the make a decision to keep the unborn child or not. She is only use for sex and the man in a relationship is dominant to a woman. The decision is always is the man’s hand and the woman only need to follow whatever the decision is taken by the man.

In conclusion, many females do not have the equal right with the man in the pass society. In the short story “ Hills Like White Elephants” by Ernest Hemingway, the author use symbolism and dialogue to convey in the pass society, females are being used as nothing but sex symbols, the man in a relationship is dominant to a woman.

被爱与爱人

有人说被爱的人是幸福的.但是我却认为爱人比被爱来得幸福.虽然被爱的那种感觉真的很好,有时候对方甚至把你视为王子或公主般对待.但是我却觉得那种捧在手中呵护的爱太过小心翼翼.当然大多数的人都选择被爱.如果被你爱这的人同样爱你,你种不可言予的感情当然是甜蜜无比,但是你有没有想过被你不爱的人爱着有时候是一种压力和恐惧.近段日子看那个所谓的"痴情女FANS"追刘德华的举动实在是让人恐惧被爱的压力.我们无法挡住被爱的力量,但是请我们在爱人的时候控制自己爱人的疯狂举动.有时候默默的爱这一个人也是幸福的,我们又何苦去追寻一段不属于自己的爱情.虽然暗恋是很辛苦的,但是我宁愿享受这种既苦涩又甜蜜的暗恋.见但自己喜欢的人过得好,相信这已经够了..

今日我负责销售益力多噶活动,真系好开心啊.因为今天噶活动是免费试饮噶活动,仲有大抽奖,所以客人玩得开心,我地做得都好HAPPY.仲有我系会场见到好多靓仔,哈哈,都见到我几千年不见一面噶亲爱噶同士.哈哈,,仲有好多以前我系学校毛机会认识噶人,我都在一天之内认识佐.最特别噶就系认识佐个JAPAN噶同士.区好NICE甘教我地讲日文,真系好好人啊!可惜我怎么样也学不好.哈哈,没有关系啦.反正用英文沟通还是过得去噶.我听日5使上班,说真噶,真D有D 吾舍得,但系都有好处噶,我可以和朋友去现场玩.因为今天要上班而没有时间去玩.好期待明天噶到来,哎.好期待可以赢张王力宏噶票啊,哈哈,其实我想赢张回去HK噶TICKET,但是赢了也没有钱回去啦....哈哈,,LEE HONG,,等我啊,,我会赢张TICKET去看你噶...

提早过噶晴人节

今日真系好开心啊....虽然上班冷到飞起(零下几读噶天气系条街度发传单).一放工都返到屋K我接到N年前噶"BF"噶电话.哈哈!!!突然间觉得好温暖.5好误会哦,我噶"BF"只系其中一个BOY噶FRIEND.我都5知怎形容我地噶关系.虽然好象陌生人,但是彼此又多佐一份默契.我曾经尝试日日打电话比区,哈哈,,当然我打D电话都是打10个挂了9个,就算我打通佐区噶电话都是长话短说.哎.因为我觉得一直是我说话实在是太累了..慢慢甘,,我地噶通话时间越来越段,甚至系几个星期才一次,后来变成几个月...最后变成了没有联系.也许我们还是有缘分吧,过了一年在NYC这个新的城市再度联系上,我就觉得我地之间还是有缘分噶,我也不知道为什么后来他为什么那么主动给我打电话,,哈哈,每一次打电话都绝对不少于一小时.我都怀疑那个人是不是他来噶.怎解区变佐甘多,我记得以前多数都是我主动打电话,他在电话的那一头总是很冷酷的回答着我.也许变的不是他,,是我吧!虽然我很开心他主动联系返我,但是我已经失去了打电话的勇气.我都是等他打电话给我,哈哈,虽然他联系每一天都和我聊天几个小时,可能他感受到我没了以往的热情,,所以他又开始变得不多话..我们又聊天噶纪录又从每一天变成了每一个月,甚至是每一年.哈哈,但是我还是很高兴他主动打电话来找我.其实我本来打算情人节再打电话过去给他一个惊喜,反而他给了一个惊喜给我,,因为他今天要回去大陆,,不能陪我过情人节啦,,哈哈,,希望他再大陆多D靓女陪区过啦.因为我情人节要睡觉.或许等我睡醒了会CALL你...(PS:晴人节快乐.MAN!)

我从来不崇拜偶像,哈哈,其实我有点崇拜我自己(自恋狂).我也不知道后来我为什么迷上了王力宏.第一次从卖CD的架上见到CD的封面我就喜欢上他了,我也觉得有那么一点疯狂.当时的他可能才刚出道不久,我甚至连听都没有听过他的名字.我就是给CD封面上那个清纯的大男孩吸引住了.回家我重复的听了一首又一首的歌,我就这样从此迷上了他.因为他弹钢琴的神情打动了我.哈哈,,身为音乐白痴的我甚至为了他学弹钢琴..哎...但是我还是没有音乐细胞,就算参加了一个学期的钢琴补习班还是弹得很烂,,算了,,还是不学了,,我静静的欣赏我的偶像弹就好了.......怎么办?我越来越爱他了..连找BF都以他为标准...晕了....我中毒太深了...

时间就如流水般匆匆的流走,我还是留在原地踏步.我也不知道我为什么变得越来越懒散..哎!!好烦啊.最近给我父母每天在我耳边唠唠叨叨的,我有点不想呆在家里.毕业已经两个星期了,我还是懒着去找工.昨天受不了父母说我每天呆在家里做"米虫",所以一大早就回去学校..尽管我已经毕业了,我还是宁愿回去呆在图书馆里睡觉.呆了两节课我就和朋友从大门口光明正大的溜走了..好不容易挨这寒风挨家挨户的去找工,但是还是找不到...哎....好烦啊..我快破产了..工啊工,你在那里啊???

新的一年

还没来得及总结2006年，新的一年已经来到我们的面前。不经意也好,经意也好,旧一年过去,新一年又来临了。日子就这么的过着。本来我是打算好好的庆祝一下来迎接新的一年的到来，但是.........哎..好惭愧哦,我居然将一个星期的作业留给自己作为自己的新年礼物。这也当然是为什么我无法庆祝新的一年的到来啦。也许上天也明白我的心情，午夜已经下起了一阵阵的大雨。为了我那堆积如山的作业，我勉强自己在半夜4点钟起来做作业。呜。。。好可怜啊！读起AMY TAN的小说真的要人命，我的脑袋一片昏昏沉沉，书上的GHOST 还不时出来讥笑我的自作自受。。。

The use of cell phones at school has generated conflict betweens school official and parents .The school official think students use cell phone at school can interrupt classes , but the parents say cell phones let them stay in touch with their children. Should students be allow to use cell phones at school? As a student who has cell phone, I believe students should not be allow to use cell phone at school. From the article “Classroom are no place for cell phone” by Williams, Armstrong and the article “School safety: cell phones, camera phones, & pagers” by National School Safely and Security Service, these articles show us use cell phones at school can cause many bad influences. I will use some quotes from both articles to convey my thesis of cell phones should not be allow to use at school.
Many student use cell phone and that number is growing. More than 90 percent of New York City high school students have cell phones. Cell phones uses at school is more and more popular. Also, it causes many bad influents at school. Student use cell phone at school can interrupt classes. "Turn off your cell phone! Turn off your cell phone!" a teacher stops teaching and shouts at a student whose cell phone was ringing. The student quickly turn off his phone . After a while, another cell phone ring again. “Turn off your cell phone!” the teacher should again. I don’t remember how many times I hear the cell phone rings during classes. I think it distracts me and I cannot pay attention on my study. According to the article “School safety: cell phones, camera phones, & pagers” , “Ringing cell phones can disrupt classes and distract students who should be paying attention to their lessons at hand.” (National School Safety and Security Services, p2.) .These quotes show us cell phone distracts students during the school day. Also, cheating is also an issue. The number of Students cheat during the exam is growing because of the cell phones. “Text message has been used for cheating. And new cell phones with cameras could be used to take photos of exams, take pictures of students changing clothes in gym locker areas.” (The National School Safety and Security Services, p2.) said by The National School Safety and Security Services. According to this quote, we know students can easily share photos or texts of exam with classmates and it violate exam rules. I think the school should limit the cell phones use at school.
Students are not necessary to use cell phone at school. Some parents need to keep in touch with their children through cell phones to make sure where their children are and make sure if their children go to school. I don’t think it is a good idea. A cell phone cannot tell you the truth. The students may lie to their parents and their parents can not notice if their children go to school or not. In my experiment, one of my classmate’s parents often call my cell phone and they want to make sure their child is going to school or not because their child doesn’t answer their calls and the school always told them she was absent. In this case, the cell phone doesn’t work . The parents could not call their child to mark sure her safety, even she has cell phone. I think the parents should call to the school office but not my cell phone or their child’s . According to the article “Classroom are no place for cell phone” by Williams, Armstrong, “Students survived for hundreds of years is not necessary to use cell phone at school.”( Williams, p2.) This quote shows us the students are not necessary to use cell phone at school because there is no cell phone in the past hundreds of years and the students still survived. Williams, Armstrong said: “If parents are seriously worried about the safely of their children, they can take other steps to ensure their safely. A cell phone is not the answer.” (Williams, p2.) Actually, cell phone can not help parents to protect their children’s safely, so the students are not necessary to use cell phone sat school.
In New York City, Major Bloomberg declared a law to ban cell phones from New York public schools and many students and their parents oppose it. The idea of to ban cell phones at school came out after 9.11. The official thinks the students use cell phone to organize gang activities and it is harmful to the school. Does allowing students to carry cell phones in school improve or detract from school safety? I think so, but most of the time the cell phone use can not against the school safety. I believe some students use phones to do some bad activities at school, but not all of the students. It seems like every student have one cell phone. It is difficult to ban the cell phone use at school. I believe that students should not be allow to use cell phone at school, but they can bring the cell phone to school. I advise the school should allow students to bring their cell phones to school, but they limit the students use cell phone at school. If the students use cell phones at school, they will get into trouble. Such as, the school had the right to confiscate it. I am no agreeing with some parent’s think the cell phones can protect their children’s safely. The cell phones can not protect their children from the attack , but the cell phone can let the parents keep in touch with their children. Every parents worry about their children’s safety, I think cell phone is not the good way to deal with this problem. The parents can call to the school office if they have something emergency .Also, the parents can call their children after school because their children can not use cell phones at school, but they can freely use cell phones after school.
A billion people are using cell phones around the world and the number is growing each year. Also, Cell phones are ubiquitous in high school, common in middle school and marking their way into elementary school. Cell phones use at school become a problem because it causes many negative influences at school and the student are not necessary to use it at school. The article “Classroom are no place foe cell phones” by Williams, Armstrong and the article “National School Safely and Security Services” convey the thesis cell phones should not be allow to use at school. The cell phone rings can disrupt the classes and take away students attention on their studies. I believe that students should not be allowed to use cell phone at school.

无无聊聊甘又过佐一日,都吾知做咩感甘无聊。记得曾经系MSN同朋友一齐讲起好想结束无聊噶假期，重新投入繁忙噶学生生活。哈哈，结果当然系比朋友骂佐一餐啦。边有人甘傻难得放假仲想返学噶。我记得佢地系甘话我傻。我觉得好郁闷，所以只好上去个BLOG乱写几句啦。今日我都系好清楚甘记得我帮我个BLOG改名果时噶心情，我先改个一个诗意却符合我心情噶名字给我噶BLOG-心灵涂鸦。我好想在我噶BLOG上乱涂乱抹，创造出一幅又一幅载满我心情噶画。我要将我噶心情化成美丽噶图画。

没有飘扬的雪花，没有动人的礼物，没有节目的节日，没有网络的日子．．．我觉得这个圣诞对我来说是我来到美国度过的一个最无聊的圣诞．因为最近台湾大地震，绝大部分的中文网络都受到影响而上不到网。读英文书读到眼睛都流泪了，我只好重新去写我遗忘大半年的ＢＬＯＧ。其实我很早的时间已经打算去写了，可是密码却给我遗忘了。懒人如我，我才放弃去写。我也不知道最近是不是得了健忘症。我居然把自己的三个ＢＬＯＧ的密码和用户名忘记。哈哈，也许我并没有忘记，只是吧它们给混乱了。昨天还发现原来我把自己的银行帐户密码给忘记了，搞到我转不到帐户。迫不得已，我只好打电话去银行搞好我的糊涂帐。哎。。原来年轻也会得　“老人痴呆症”噶。　为了记录我经历过的事情，我还是觉得把我的ＢＬＯＧ修理好，然后记录每一件重要的事情。　－－－－－希望我以后记得ＢＬＯＧ的密码啦。

第一次

静静地听这光良的《第一次》，另我想起了无数个我的第一次。第一次写ＢＬＯＧ，第一次设计网页，第一次做菜．．．．．．每一个人的一生都无可避免他们一次又一次的第一次。最近的我想再一次挑战我的第一次————做菜。尽管我不是第一次煮菜，但是我这一次却想煮我从来没有尝试过的——－酒煲鸡。我也不知道最近怎么了，在家呆得无聊就突然想尝试煮新的菜色去满足我的口福之欲。我的灵感来源都是在某天醒来的时候闻到一阵香气扑鼻的酒味，这阵香气把我从梦中唤起。哈哈，这对我来说很的是难得的好消息。因为我睡觉的时候六亲不认，就算天摇地动也难地将我唤醒。小时候在乡下的时候，老人家都喜欢用酒酿鸡，听说吃了很补。是不是真的有这回事我就不得而知啦。反正我也是跟着吃，哈哈，就是吃了酒晕晕的，我还是想满足我的口福之欲。久而久之，就练成了我　“千杯不醉”的功力。来到美国之后，我反而怀念起那一阵阵的酒香味。如果你问我：“在美国最常吃的东西是什么？”我一定会说“鸡”。最少对于我家来说，我们天天都见到“鸡”的身影。机器式的对这一样味道的鸡几年时间，哈哈，你可以想象出是什么样的心情吗？简直是闻鸡色变。为了避免这种情况的发生，我只好沉思默想着各种各样不同鸡的煮法。至少这个星期我已经研究了：药材煲鸡，栗子焖鸡，东菇蒸鸡，老姜炒鸡。我觉得我的这些试验都尚算成功。希望我今天的酒煲鸡也成功啦。

我同意这么一句话，“所有的文学作品都是抗议。你找不出一部作品不是抗议。”也就是说所有的文学作品都是通过描写一些社会发生的事情来批判当时的社会来表达作者对当时社会的不满。在我们学过雨果的长篇小说《悲惨世界》与狄更斯的长篇小说《双诚记》都阐明了这一观点。
在雨果的长篇小说《悲惨世界》中，作者通过描写低层社会的劳动人民的悲惨生活来反映了作者对当时社会的不满。冉阿让为了季节的孩子而偷面包被捕入狱。尽管冉阿让人性本善。可是为了生活却不得不做出偷窃的行为。这表现了当时社会的黑暗，当时社会压迫下的人民生活穷困潦倒。更反映了作者对社会不满的态度。芳汀为了生计日夜颠倒地在工厂里工作以致要将女儿寄养于德纳第夫妇家。她的这一表现导致了德纳第夫妇贪得无厌的敲诈与勒索，以致她最后走上了妓女的不归路。这一例子说明了当时实惠劳动人民的穷困潦倒以及人们的冷血无情。芳汀是一个穷苦的单身母亲，可是德纳第夫妇却对她的生活状态见死不救，甚至还落井下石。这一例子反映了作者对当时社会的不满。
在狄更斯的长篇小说《双诚记》都阐明了这一观点。侯爵两兄弟为了一少妇而设计杀害少妇的丈夫以及家人，甚至将少妇逼疯。他们将马奈医生放进监狱。这一例子说明了当时社会贵族无法无天的行为，他们利用权力来掩盖邪恶的事实。同时反映了作者对当时巴黎社会的不满。
通过以上两部作品的论证，我们可以看到所有的文学作品都通过描写一些事实来批判和反映作者对当时社会的不满。

It has been said that “All that is literature seeks to communicate power…”This means that literature is the language an author uses to persuade the idea to his readers. This saying is true when one analyzes The little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. In The Little Prince, Antoine De Saint-Exupery uses personification and in The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho makes use of foreshadowing to show that in literature authors use the force of the written world to convey ideas.
In The Little Prince, Antoine De Saint- Exupery uses personification to show that literature is the language an author uses to persuade the idea to his readers. Personification is when human traits are given to non-human objects. In this work, the author explores the themes of communicate power. Antoine De Saint- Exupery specifically uses personification explore these same themes when he states “Here is my secret. It’s quite simple: one sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.” said the fox .“But you mustn’t forget it. You become responsible for what you’ve tamed. You’re responsible for your rose…” This quotation coveys the friendship between the little prince and the fox. It teaches a moral to the readers is important things in life can’t be seen with the eyes but with the heart. Relationship teaches responsibility. We find another example of this when Antoine De Saint-Exupery states “After dark you will put me under glass….Where I come from…”Although the rose appears only in a couple of chapters, she is crucial to the novel as the whole because her melodramatic, proud nature is what causes the prince to leave his planet and begin his exploration. It conveys the lesson love to the readers. In both instances we see that in literature authors use the force of the written word to convey ideas.
In The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho uses foreshadowing to show that literature is the language an author uses to persuade the idea to his readers. Foreshadowing is that some clues in a poem, play, short story, or novel that helps the reader guess what will happen later in the text. Foreshadowing serves to build suspense or to drop clues as to what will come later in the story . In this work, the author also explores the themes of communicate power. Paulo Coelho specifically uses foreshadowing explore these same themes when he states “Take to the fields, and someday you’ll learn that our countryside is the best, and our women that most beautiful.” This quotation tells the readers some important message when the readers read it. We know Santiago’s father’s prediction that someday Santiago will discover that his own land is better than any he may travel to prepare us for Santiago ultimately finding his treasure in Spain. We find another example of this when Paulo Coelho states“This is for the boy. If he ever needs it.” The alchemist gives a second piece of gold to the monk to hold for Santiago. It foreshadows that the boy will return to the monastery to finance his way back to Spain. We don’t know what happened to Santiago on his journey before we read this quotation, but this question has the power to convey the author’s idea to his readers. We can predict Santiago lost his money and his return to the place where the monk lives and asked for help. In both instances we see that literature is the language an author uses to persuade the idea to his readers.
One sees then that personification and foreshadowing can be used effectively to show that literature is the language an author uses to persuade the idea to his readers. This is certainly truth when we analyze The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Authors of good books have of way of reminding us of things that we often forget. This includes universal truths like “All that is literature seeks to communicate powers…..”

In my opinion, I support high school senior should be allowed to go away for the weekend without a chaperon. Is it a best opportunity for high school seniors to meet friends .Also, it teaches high school senior how to take their responsibilities. The important lesson is teaching the parents trust their children.
Many parents worry about their children’s safety when they go away for weekends without a chaperon. That’s the reason why they don’t allow their children go away for weekends. For example, they put some curfew on their children to limit their time. They check where their children go and with who. Sometimes they allowed their children go away for weekends with a chaperon. Such as, they would come with their children or go to pick up their children. Some high school seniors want to be allowed to go away for weekend without a chaperon. They don’t want to go away for weekends with a chaperon. They have their personal domain and they don’t want their parents know about it. Everybody has their own secret and they don’t want to tell anybody even their parents. For example, some children want to go to a party with their girlfriend or boyfriend and they don’t want their parents know. If they go away for weekends with a chaperon, they don’t have their personal domain. High school senior don’t like be treat with as a baby. They have their opinion to do something. It is very important for parents to communicate with their children and give opportunity to them to go away for weekend without a chaperon.
All parents should be given a fair opportunity their children to go away for the weekend without a chaperon. High school seniors are adults and they have the right to go away for the weekend without a chaperon. It is the best way to meet new friends when they go out for weekends. Some high school seniors don’t have many friends because they spend most of their time on study at school. They don’t have an opportunity to meet new friends. If they don’t be allowed to go away for the weekend, they would lose a great opportunity to meet new friends. For example, some high schools have a senior prom and some parties to celebrate graduation. I think these parties are fantastic and we have to go. However, some parents don’t allow going away for weekends because they worry their children’s safety. I think this is not a big deal, high school seniors would know how to take care of themselves. We can’t miss such a great opportunity to meet new friend and lean how to communicate with people. Friends are part of our life, sometimes with need to go out with friends on weekends. We should be allowed to go away for weekends without a chaperon. Our parents should learn how to stay with their children and trust them. Sometimes parents should communicate with their children and understand what they think.
In the other hand, some parents don’t allow their children who are high school seniors go away for weekends without a chaperon. They give a curfew on their children. They don’t let their children just go away. They have always insisted on knowing where their children are if they go out with friends, with whom, and, if visiting a friend’s houses; confirm that a parent will be home. And they try to find out what they’re doing, therefore how long they needs to be out. And they should call parents or locations change. I think all the parents in the world are worry about their children’s safety. However, they should be allowed their high school seniors to go away for the weekend without a chaperon. The reasons that a high school senior should be allowed to go away for the weekend without a chaperon are that he /she is an adults, he’s/she’s responsible in telling parents where he/she is. The parents should trust what they children do and don’t treat them like a little child. I think a high school senior should have responsible on what they do. The parents didn’t need to too much worry about their children. They children should know what should do or not. The only thing that the parents do is allowed their high school seniors children to go away for weekends without a chaperon.
In conclusion, one of the most important of high school seniors should be allowed to go away for weekends without a chaperon can teach parents trust their children. High school seniors have the can take their responsibilities on what they do. They can go away for weekends without a chaperon because they have their communication circle and they have their personal domain. Although some parents worry about their children’s safety, but they should get an opportunity to their children to go away for weakens without a chaperon.

“人不为自，天株地灭。”不知道那位名人曾经留下那么脍炙人口的一句话。虽然这句话很多人都不认同，那些所谓的“正人君子”鄙实这样自私的行为。我认为这句话实在是说得太好了。试问我们谁没有私心，如果那些大声说没有的人，也只怕是自欺欺人吧。现实的社会是那么的残酷，“适者生存”恐怕是最适合形容这样的现象吧！人人自危的情况，又有多少人舍己为人呢？
现今社会，青年往社会往上爬的现象多不胜数。有人为了钱而铤而走险，有人为了往上流社会爬而牺牲自己的婚姻，也有人为了往上爬而坚持不懈的努力奋斗。我个人认为青年往上爬的社会现象是一个良性的现象，只要我们不要违反法律，不要违背道德就可以了。有动力有会有进步，这个社会才会更加美好。

机遇

有人说,有因必有果,当然有它的道理,但我们不能否认,冥冥中也有主宰,我们的机遇,可能亦会被安排,不是我们自己所能控制的,而且有时更是意料之外,感受到"塞翁失马,焉知非福"的道理。我曾经去过很多地方找义工，甚至还托朋友帮忙找。可是不知道为什么，我一直找了3个月都还没有成功的找到一份义工。有时候我甚至怀疑是不是上天有意刁难我。可是，最近我却在一日之内接到两份义工的通知。也许这样的人生就是这样吧，上天会帮我们安排好一切，只要时间到了，我们的机遇自然会出现。所以不要埋怨上天的不公平。要经历这些风浪，才能克服困难。当这一切苦楚熬过之后，暮然回首，又不觉得如想像中辛苦。

这是我第二天来到红萍果幼稚园做义工报到的第二天，我被分配到6号科室。这里有18个2岁到3岁的小朋友。最另我难忘的是这个科室有一个超级爱哭的小朋友。可能是他刚来到这个陌生的环境吧。他那震耳欲聋的声音欲把科室的房顶震塌。因为我会广东话的缘故，所以那个老师叫我负责用广东话安慰那名爱哭的家伙。但是我实在是没有这个“魅力”令他停止那魔音，只有在吃饭的时候他才能稍微停一停。呵呵，因为我一见到他哭，我就把装满饭的饭往他口里送，我想他想哭都有心无里吧。好不容易搞定一个爱哭鬼，另外有的小朋友也因为想念家长或睁玩具而哭了，哎，我可怜的耳朵就这样给哭泣的声音污染了一个下午。希望明天不要再听到哭泣的声音啦，愿上帝保佑我。^^

抽血

红日西沉，天气仍然让人透不过起来。一大步的跨进医院的大门，一阵阵的阴风迎面吹来。这使我的毛管都竖了起来。它们大口大口的呼吸着，努力的排放身体的毒素。踏进密封的升降机，我渗出微颤的手轻轻的按了一下“8”字的按钮。“8字是一个幸运的数字”我自我的安慰着自己。这突然而来的想法突然让我轻松了不少，“困”在密封升降机的我也尝到氧气的美味了。
出了电梯的门口，我快步来到“义工部门”的办公室。里面坐着的“老头”现在好像没有那么恐怖了。也许我已经一段时间没有到他的原因吧！想到两个月前我来到同样的地方，对着同样的人，我的心情曾经经过上天堂与下地狱的滋味。我怀着满怀的希望来到这里寻找通往“天堂”的路（找义工）。可是，我怎么样也想不到填一一大堆的表格之后。“老头”挂上那恐怖的笑脸，张开嘴巴露出吸血鬼般的牙齿对我说：“到4楼去抽血检查，顺便全身检查身体。”“我今天没有空，我可以有空在来检查吗？”脱口而出的话就那么毫无预料的从我的口中奔出来。可能我下意识的害怕对着医生那着针筒对着我吧。就这样，我就逃离了“地狱”。两个月后的今天，我终于鼓起勇气再回来这里面对那个吸血鬼般的“老头”。我拿着他写的纸条到130室找抽血的人。那间医院实在大得可怜，我随便捉了一个人来问他那里是130室。他看了看我手上的纸条就说“I’M."我还没有反应过来就给他捉进他的工作室里面。然后他熟练的拿出一个针筒对我说：“Don’t be afrait， i will trust you like my daughter."我眼睛一闭,深深的呼了一口气。他突然对我说：“OK”。原来已经抽完血了，其实抽血也不是那么恐怖。

PS（因为我对抽血有不好的经历，所以一直抗拒抽血。我曾经遇到一个护士，她居然在我的左手插5次都抽不到血，最惨的是其中的一次还是针痛给血返弹出来，血一直从我的手臂流出来。最后还是叫护士长出面才搞定了这次惊险的抽血。）

<<张小娴散文集>>是我比较喜欢的一本散文集。这本散文集的收集张小娴个人的散文作品。我从初中起就接触这本散文集。它对我有很大的影响。这本散文集是关于抒情的散文。它包括长篇与短篇。每一篇散文都和女性的心情有密切的联系。由于我最早接触的文学作品是散文，因此也影响了我如今喜欢写散文的一个重要原因。

13饮品喝出“白里透红”

"(一)姜汁奶
　　牛奶加入少许姜汁(用挤压勺挤入)，
烧热至90度即可，这个标准的判断方法就是，奶锅边起一圈鱼眼泡就关火，不要煮沸，加入冰糖即成… 进入型色男女图库

　　牛奶被煮至90度可以完全保全营养
　　(二)椰汁西米露
　　西米用温水泡十分钟，加入少量水中火加热十分钟，放冰糖，倒入温热的椰汁即可。

　　木瓜对剖开去核去瓤，把果肉挖出，分成小块，用挤压勺挤出汁，加牛奶，煮到90度。关火，加冰糖。

　　(四)雪肌汤
　　一个鲜百合剥片，五颗金丝小枣，五颗干桂圆。放入水中，加入冰糖适量，文火煮20~30分钟即成。

　　(五)午后奶茶
　　立顿红茶1~2包，放入茶碗中，冲入煮至90度牛奶，加入两块方糖，搅拌即成。

　　A.把银耳去根，泡四十分钟，加水、加冰糖、四颗金丝小枣，文火煮20~40分钟，都可以，看你喜欢什么口感。
　　B. 把银耳去根，泡四十分钟，加入百合，和你平时不爱空口吃的，糖份比较大的果脯，文火煮20分钟，不需要加糖，味道很好。
　　购买银耳选择，颜色黄的，花朵形状自然的，不能太整齐了(七)梨蜜蜜
　　梨去皮，
剖开，去核，切块，加适量温水，加百合，文火煮20~30分钟。食用时加入蜂蜜。

　　(八)红颜汤
　　用两勺红糖，一块生姜，加入适量水，文火煮10分钟，把从药店买回的陈皮泡入即可。

　　适量汤圆粉，温水和面，把面团揪成花生大小的小剂子，再揉成小丸子。醪糟烧开后，下汤团，汤团浮起后，打入蛋花，关火。

　　这个食品非常补，尤其是对女孩子。如果怕麻烦，直接做成醪糟蛋花就可以了
　　(十)甘蔗荸荠汤
　　一段甘蔗，削皮切成小段。十个荸荠，削皮洗净。加入足够的水，把荸荠和甘蔗放入同煮20~30分钟。关火加冰糖。

In ancient world, more and more immigrants came to the United States for a better life; we have many different people and many different cultures in the American society. Everyone have their own immigration experience in American. "The Struggle to be an All-American Girl" by Elizabeth Wong, we see a conflict of values between younger and older generations. There are many differences and similarities that I share with the author and her immigration experience.
In the author and my immigration experiences, we have the conflict between our parents and us. "The Struggle to be All American Girl" by Elizabeth Wong. Elizabeth's mother forced her children to learn and to respect Chinese tradition even though they did not want to. "In Chinese school the children learned mainly language, reading, and writing. The lessons always began with an exercise in politeness." The students in Chinese school had to learn to be polite and always respect elderly people. Chinese languages had to be learned by heart. Elizabeth's mother wanted her children to learn to speak Chinese because in Chinatown, there were many Chinese people who speak Chinese. She wanted Elizabeth to be able to speak with these people, celebrate Chinese holidays and eat Chinese food. In my immigration experience, I learn Chinese at school. My parents want me to learn Chinese and learn Chinese tradition. They think Chinese culture is very important for me because I’m a Chinese. I should respect elderly people. I eat Chinese food every day for dinner and I celebrate Chinese holiday. For Example, my parents will get me luck money in Chinese New Year morning.
One different immigration experience between the author and mine is Elizabeth did not like the Chinese language, but did. Elizabeth did not like the Chinese language because of the loud voice people used with it, and she could not accept the smell of Chinese medicine at her school. She really preferred American culture. Elizabeth said "I favored crisp new scents, like the soft French perfume that my American teacher wore in public. I could do the multiplication tables, name the satellites of Mars, and write reports on Little Women and Black Beauty. Nancy Drew, my favorite book heroine, never spoke Chinese." There was little of Chinese culture for her to like. In my immigration experience, I love Chinese language prefer English. I think Chinese sounds beautiful. There are many Chinese live in Chinatown, it is easy to speak Chinese with these people and Chinese sounds very beautiful for me. Elizabeth and her brother were unhappy with their Chinese school, and it was so hard for them to learn Chinese traditions. Their soul and tradition is American, and they will not follow Chinese traditions. Elizabeth spoke English in Chinatown even though she was taught Chinese. It means forcing her to speak Chinese was hopeless, and she will not obey what her mother wants. The author’s immigration is totally different from my experience. I’m very happy to learn Chinese because my first language is Chinese .learning Chinese and Chinese traditions is very easy for me. Even though I immigrant to the United State, but my soul and tradition is Chinese. I love Chinese culture more than English culture.
In the modern world, many immigrants try themselves to fit in to American society, even though they have the different culture. The children of immigrant families in America will choose their own preferred style and culture without their parents' approval.

唐人街一日游

难得今天天气晴朗，我打算今天出街呼吸一下不算清鲜的“空气”，顺便吸收维他命D---阳光的沐浴。对于我这个称得上“大懒虫”来说，就不会破费兼长途跋系去旅游啦！最多去街上逛几圈。呵呵，今天我打算来个唐人街一日游。
其实我这一次的唐人街一日游的目的是想吃尽美食。听见“美食”两个字，我的肚子已经很不争气的咕咕大响。首先要提醒你哦，我想吃的美食不会超过一块美元，都是街边小食。原因是本小姐很穷。首先为了我不争气的肚子着想，我先来到Canal Street的地摊上买了美味的捞面。偷偷的跟你说哦，根据我尝尽唐人街街边的小食的经验，我还是觉得Canal Street的最美味。捧着美食，我来到格兰街的公园。一边欣赏精彩的球赛一边享受美味，那种感觉真的发梦想起都会微笑。吃完面，我决定去Canal Stree的街边享受那种热闹的气氛。我好像小鱼一样穿梭在熙让的人群中，感受那种给人包围的感觉。可能在家呆久了吧，有时候出街享受一下热闹的气氛也是不错的事。其实，Canal Street 最特色还是街边的摊位，因为各种首饰，手袋五花八门，应有尽有。虽然我从来没有在坚尼路的摊位上买过东西，但是我很喜欢一个摊位挨一个摊位的慢慢欣赏美丽的商品。接着，我回到了伊利莎白街的地下商场。我之所以喜欢伊利莎白的商场是那里是精品的天地，这里的精品店很多，是一个不错的消闲地方，我每一次进去都花上一段时间是依依不舍的离去。今天以为还有其他的地方要去，我就没有怎么逗留了。
格兰街也是我今天想去的一个地方，因为这里有几间不错的精品店和街边小食。其中我常去的要数“千色店”和“日本城”。这两间店是的文具很家居用品都很精致，我平时无聊的时候都会去这里逛逛消遣我的时光。今天还发现了“日本城”里面开了一个新的铺位是买首饰的，这里的首饰是很有特色的那种。这个铺位的老板是一个泰国人，呵呵，受不了她的热情招待，我的钱包当然少不了大出血啦。我想我下次不敢再常常去那里消遣了，因为她实在是太热情了。格兰街夹包厘街街的街角的香港蛋糕仔也是不错的美食，同时也在这个小食的对面有个卖米粉，面的摊位也值得你尝试。格兰街当然少不了美味的越南餐馆啦，呵呵，这一次我就没有去尝试啦。因为一个人座在西餐厅里面独自享受还是感觉怪怪的。我还是喜欢街边的小食多一点。
不知不觉的，唐人街我都游到七七八八了，也是时候该让我可怜的双脚休息一下了。我回到EASTBROWAY的图书馆歇一歇。好可怜啊，这里也称得上“人山人海”了，我只好无可奈何的蹲在书架的旁边捧起“小气财神”这本书阅读。我本来还是很认真的在阅读，但是图书馆的工作人员已经下了逐客令要我们离开，因为关门时间已经到了。我只好离开图书馆。由于我还要买菜煮饭，当然没有借书啦。最后游一个唐人街的一个“名胜”当然是EASTBROWAY的桥底。也许你会问我那里有什么好游玩的地方，但是住在唐人街的妇女试问有那个不知道有这么一个地方。它之所以那么出名只因为这里是买菜的好地方，这里的菜便宜又新鲜，很受家庭主妇的欢迎。
呵呵，唐人街一天好玩又有意义的游玩就是在一番讨教还价的争论中结束了。回到家，免不了又对着刚买的菜头疼起来。够了，放假每一天都是呆在家里煮菜烧饭。我真的受够了。*-* *-*

与父母谈博客

我的父母从来没有碰过电脑，他们每见到我的电脑总是小心翼翼的，生怕碰坏了这个“宝贝”。每天固定坐在电脑前呆几小时成了我的习惯。我的父母从来不知道我是在写博客，设计网页，还是上网聊天。如果他们放工回来还见到我还是坐在电脑前，只会淡淡的说：“夜深了，不要天天玩电脑，快睡觉吧。”有一天，他们见到我在写博客，他们突然问我那是什么。我只好和他们解释这是近年流行的玩意，就好像日记一样。它和日记相比方便得多了，我们可以省会不少纸张，当然也可以省略墨水啦！博客的最大好处就是你的心情可以和朋友分享，还可以每天更新。我不知道我的父母有没有听明白我的解释。总之，他们还是不会碰我的宝贝电脑，也不会阅览我写的博客啦。

钱，钱，钱

钱，钱，钱！我现在的心赤裸裸的躺在寒冰上，冷得没感觉了。难得我今天接到大陆打来的电话，我本来是很高兴的，但是，一句温暖的问候都没有，刚开口就是关于钱的问题。这是亲情吗？怪不得人们都说谈到钱伤感情。今天，我伯母再一次打电话出来美国叫我父母寄钱回去。我真的好想把电话给挂了，但是我没有。我只是默默的流这泪听他们说着要我们寄钱回去的理由。我真的很气，他们家已经够有钱了，居然还利用我年迈的奶奶叫我们寄钱回去。

养生之道

刚刚“大病初愈”的我觉得养生之道是很重要的。我个人觉得养生之道应该从我们日常生活养起。如果连个人的日常生活都不规则，甚至过着日夜颠倒的生活，我觉得怎么名贵的药材都是补不了的。我们要注意自己的日常生活，养成好的养生知道，要做到一下几点：1，每天要有足够的休息。（最好要睡眠8小时）。2，多喝水。（最好每天要喝8杯水）3，要有适当的运动。运动可以帮助排放身体的毒素。4，要饮食正常，不要偏食。早餐要吃的比其他的餐丰富。避免吃油腻的食物，多吃水果和蔬菜。

平凡的周末

刚吃了晚饭，无所事事，我又不知不觉的埋首于电脑桌前和网友聊得起劲。这个周末我都没有步出过家门一步，真的好像过着与世无争的世外桃园的生活。回想起今天一天所发生的事情，好像没有什么值得我回想的。我因为昨天上网通宵的关系，今天睡到下午3点才起床。一天美好的时光就是这样在梦中流逝了。睡醒了，匆匆忙忙煮早餐吃了，就看开始了做作业。哎，我还没在作业本上回过神来，我弟弟就要我为今天的晚餐准备。可怜的我才刚吃了所谓的“早餐”啊！没办法啦，谁叫我是姐姐呢。我只好认命的去为晚餐做准备了。难得今天那么早煮饭，我特别煮了5样菜色。呵呵！闻见香味，就知道我有大师的水准啦！！吃晚晚饭，等到我弟弟回去姑姑家，家里的电脑终于回到我的怀抱了。接下来发生的事当然不用我说啦，当然是例牌-----上网。当然我不单单只是单纯的聊天，用电脑做作业也是我每天对着电脑的一个重要的原因。

在我们的成长岁月中，每天要面对的困难总是比快乐多。很多人总是抱怨上天的不公平，却没想到在抱怨的过程中有替自己制造了不快乐。其实，快乐是人为的。快乐之处，就是有“盼望”的信仰。因为我相信，如果一个人坚信人生不会永远的苦下去，总会尝到甜蜜的味道。那么只要坚忍，坚持下去，总会有收获，我们要坚信明天会更好。我曾经去过教会，它教我们要感恩。每天都留意一件让自己感恩的事，数数自己拥有的是那么多，学习欣赏代替抱怨。

今天我们上了一节有意义的语文课。老师叫我们尝试阅读同学的在博客上写的文章，并要求我们留言评论。最特别的就是要求我们不可以评论坏的，只可以赞扬好的。从这节课，我学会了欣赏别人的优点。试问世界上有那一个人没做过错的呢？反过来，每个人都有自己的优点。我们做事不可以只看到别人的坏处，我们要学会欣赏别人的优点。只有这样，我们才真正学到了知识。

又见BLOOGN时

这几天忙得天昏地暗的，我都好久没写过这个BLOOG了。我重新开了2个新的BLOOG，忙着写那边的，居然把这边的BLOOG忘记了。其实本来今天也没什么时间写，但我还是抽出时间来写点什么在我的BLOOG上。因为今天实在是无聊透了。从回家对着电脑就不知道做什么，我干脆看电视。我把自己的眼睛看得干涩不堪都不想面对今天的作业。因为今天的作业实在是太“恐怖 ”了。连续看了几小时的电视，我干脆跑去睡觉。逃避并不是一种办法，我还是不得不面对今天的作业。为了我可以起床做作业，我还调了3个闹钟在半夜12点叫我起床。哎，好命苦啊，我又要开始和我的作业奋战了。

第二层地狱

半夜3点的钟声响起了，我却翻下床来到电脑前打开我的BLOG。好像着了魔似的，我在新建的帖子里打下了“第二层地狱”这几个字。说真的，我并不了解第2层地狱是什么意思。拿着但丁<<神曲.地狱篇>>看了又看,我还是觉得脑袋一片浑浊。相反的，我的心却越来越恐惧。夜深人静本已经够恐怖的，我现在写有关地狱的话题。
我从来没有想过死后会上天堂还是下地狱。对于我来说，天堂和地狱只不过是一个栖身之所，只要自己问心无愧，又何怕死后受到的苦难呢？我最感到惊讶的是原来地狱还有那么多层，呵呵，虽然我经常听人说如果坏人死后会下十八层地域，却从来没有听过地狱原来还第二层。但丁的<<神曲.地狱篇>>里面描写的第二层地狱充满受苦灵魂的哭声。听说地狱是一层比一层小，相信第二层地狱比第一层的地狱窄小多了。这里住着可怕的判官---米诺斯，他决定怎么样发配亡魂。在第二层地狱里，犯邪淫罪的人死后的人来到这里会被地狱里的狂飙刮来刮去，永远不得安息。
想起在这又阴暗有狭窄的地方，一个个死后的灵魂哭泣着并受着地狱的狂飙刮来刮去，我就觉得第二层地狱比十八层地狱恐怖多了。在十八层地狱里最多是受到最高的惩罚，答案无非是死多一次。但是来到第二层地狱受罚的灵魂却永远不得安息。有那么可怕的判官米诺斯在，我怕这里的灵魂都是没有什么幸福的日子好过了。

周末本来是我的人间天堂,可是现在却成了人间地狱。拖着疲困的身躯，好不容易熬到了周末，本来打算来个大冬眠，不理世界事。可是我现在最讨厌的就是周末的来临。周末代表着无聊，噪音和堆积如山的作业在向我招手。由于我弟弟每到周末就回家和我争抢电脑。每次都是我做姐姐的输，理由是弟弟只是每一周才难得回家一回。我当然要让步啦。我的让步也因此将自己推下万井深渊。他每次都用我的电脑玩游戏，那惊天动地的噪音媲美惊涛骇浪将我从床上摇醒。每天我就得受到噪音的骚扰，最惨的是我做作业要等到半夜才能出动。因为只有在半夜，我才能享受片刻的安宁。

残缺的角

有一个角,是被一个完整的圆遗弃的. 为了能够找回残缺的部分, 角尝试着努力的让自己立起身子, 可是都不行. 经过无数次的坚持,角终于能够站起来, 可是始终还是会摔倒. 角没有放弃. 摔倒之后它再站起来,站起来再摔倒,再站起来 . 在这途中角曾试着把自己镶进数不清的圆,却始终没有找到那块遗弃他的圆. 角其实明白自己和圆都已经改变了,就算找到了又能怎样呢. 自己的轮廓已经在这无数次的站立又摔倒中逐渐的被磨去了.在突然的一天,角发现其实不用镶进圆里自己也能够滚动前进.生活就是这样,也许你一直在尝试着找回曾经遗忘的东西. 可是,等你找到了才发现,已经物是人非了. 就像角一样,努力的尝试了寻找,可是找到了又怎样呢.所以只有自己能够滚动着看世界,就像自己和自己恋爱一样, 才永远不会被抛弃.

《律师与儿子》将犯人的儿子推到冲突的中心，其他的所有人物，都是冲突漩涡的制造与的制造者与推动者。我个人觉得文中的养父作为律师，对本文会起到某种意义上的催化剂作用。作为律师的养父与犯人的儿子，基本上他们就是互相冲突的。作者用作为先扬后抑的手法，在文中先谈到了儿子与父亲的那种平凡却深厚的亲情关系。但是却在一次郊游中，从父亲坐在悬崖边休息这一举动透露了平凡的生活起了变化，这一举动给人透露这一丝丝的不安。父亲向儿子透露了他多年来一直背着的不为人知的秘密。他用他的生命换取儿子的谅解。不负所望，他的养子也体会了养父多年来的养育之恩。正所谓恩重如山，就算作为律师的父亲是判他父亲死刑的人，可是父亲多年来的养育之恩和伟大也补偿了杀父之仇的瑕疵。作为律师的爱是伟大的，宽容的，受人尊敬。儿子也从父亲身上学会了宽容。

零食垃圾桶

不知道为何我一坐在电脑的面前，就不由自主的将零食往口里送。为了每一晚和电脑度过漫慢长夜，我今天放学特别去买了一大堆零食回来以便解谗。手指不停的在电脑键盘上飞奔，但是右手总是背叛了键盘往零食的怀抱飞奔而去。我喜欢一边将零食往口里送，一边上网阅读的习惯。因为面对着电脑密密麻麻的文字，会消耗大量的脑力和视力，而零食可以补充消耗的一些能量。也因为这样，我就边成了零食垃圾桶。

棉花糖

软绵棉的、白胖胖、如一朵白色的祥云般，那就是棉花糖。。我虽然不喜欢吃甜的零食，可是棉花糖却是我的最爱。我就爱那入口即化，甜而不腻的口感。轻轻的放进口中，软软的、甜甜的。轻咬一口，软得仿佛连舌头都可以融进去，可口的味道让舌头都陶醉得不动。

电脑恐惧症

我怕！我真的很怕！今天电脑对我来说就如洪水猛兽。经过昨天电脑通宵，十只手指头连续在电脑键盘上飞奔，我的手已经麻木了。可是就算我多累，我今天还是难逃面对四节的电脑课。因为今天电脑课和英文课都需要电脑，最可怕的是这两门课都是DOUBLE。还是先休息一下再写吧！这节课终于告一段落了。下节课要测验美国历史，先复习一下啦。

冬奥

冬奥会上各选手奇招百出，可谓各有千秋。尽管输与赢只在与一线之差，但是奥运场上却展现了很多激动人心的故事。我个人认为昨天自由式滑雪女子空中技巧中，中国选手郭心心的表演最另我深刻。我喜欢她不是因为她与我同是中国人，我只是单纯的喜欢她永不言败的精神。郭心心在挑战空中难度时失利，她在落地时整个人滚落地上。尽管她满脸占满了雪，她仍在失败后坚强的站起来向着镜头的亿万电视前的观众露出少女的可爱笑脸，甚至还竖起了胜利的手势。虽然她与冠军失之交臂，但是她却是我见过一个最坚强、最乐观的选手。

地球是一个生态系统，在这个系统中的每一部分，都是紧密地联系在一起的、不可分割的。生物的多样性尤其与生态系统的稳定不可分割。

我的梦想

时间如流水般匆匆的流走了。真不知道要感慨失去的青春，还是要怪岁月的无情。
“我的梦想是什么呢？”无论是喧闹的白天还是寂静的黑夜，这几天我的脑海都一幕又一幕的飘过无数个问号。“我的梦想究竟是什么呢？”呜！！我想不到我的梦想究竟是什么。虽然我写过我的梦想这个题目一遍又一遍，但是我写它也是因为应付老师的功课。因为我从不认为我要这么早为自己的梦想而出发。我每次写我的梦想一定是写当一位老师。如果你问我为什么想当一名老师？我一定会回答你，我从来没想过当一位老师。我写这个题目是因为老师一定会给我的作文高分。因为自小就给老师给“洗脑”长大后要当一名老师，我报志愿的时候还填师范学校为我的第一志愿。我的老师为此还找我聊了很多关于做老师的经验和一些好的师范学校。天知道我报师范学校只是为了有一个好的环境学习。因为我们那里的师范学校算得上是环境好，老师佳的一所学校之一。呵呵，我想如果我的老师发现我的目的一定会气得两眼一翻，昏过去吧。
可能上天知道我的梦想不是当一名老师吧，我最终还是没考上师范学校。我选择了一所英语专业学校。我也不知道为什么我突然兴起了当空姐的念头。我觉得空姐穿得美美的，一个又一个国家的飞来飞去，我就很羡慕。从此我以作为一名出色的空姐为我的梦想。这也是为什么我选择职业学校有一定的联系。因为作为一名空姐，一定会多国语言，英语是少不了的。我很开心我终于有了我第一个真正想实现的梦想。
现实是残酷的。随着年龄的增长，我也变得越来越现实。我觉得我不能以做一名空姐为我的人生目标。空姐只适合年轻貌美的阶段。毕竟人还是要长大的，岁月不留人啊。为此，我曾经伤心了几天。但是我很快为自己想另外的梦想。想啊，想啊！我就是找不到适合我的梦想。我觉得我还是喜欢到处旅游的感觉，就像空姐一样到处飞。我喜欢无拘无束的生活。现在，我终于再一次找到了我的梦想。我想作为一名出色的女商人。我认为在商界一般都是男人的天地，我要证明女人一样可以考自己的实力在残酷的商界杀出一条血路。我选择这条路是因为商人一般都是飞往各国谈生意。这即可以满足我到处飞的愿望，又可以发挥我学的交际英语手段，何乐而不为呢？
虽然从商这个梦想有点难以实现，因为我的数学底子不是很好。但是我认为不论多困难，我还是会走过去的。这应该是我最后的一个梦想了吧！！！
呵呵，希望我会一直坚持下去朝我的梦想走下去吧。我相信前面金光闪闪的道路已经向我招手了。我来啦！！！！！！！^-^ ^-^

第一次听到这首歌，是在一个叫吴奇隆的台湾歌手那儿。说实话，当时的我根本就没心情去留意歌词优美不优美，曲子出色不出色。只是当时这首歌唱得街知巷闻，我只是其中的一个“受害者”罢了。第二次听这首歌的时候，是在KTV中，我的朋友为了欢送我出国而唱的。不知道怎么了，我总觉得这首歌的主题，表现了一种很美丽，很深厚的友谊，它是一种依依不舍的拥有过的分离，是带着朋友祝福的分离。

我依依不舍的挥别了我的朋友，踏上了飞往美国的飞机。对着迷茫的前途，怀着对朋友的不舍，离别温馨的家园，我终于崩溃了，我恨恨的大哭了一场。

从来到美国之后，一切都充满压力，为了生存和生活，每天，人就像钟表一样，从无停下来的时候。此时此刻的情形，只是每天晚上精疲力尽地躺在床上，却又辗转翻侧不能入睡时，脑子里所奢想编织的故事，聊以安慰疲惫的心，或缅怀年轻时的梦。繁重的作业，即将到来的期中考试，等等，等等，我都不愿再想起。只想在这难得的恬馨宁静中，把自己完全地沉下去。曾经有过的这样的日子已经好遥远了，遥远得扑朔迷离，难以捕捉。然而，这样的日子毕竟要过啊！

来美之后，我怀着渴望的心情，托着沉重的背包浸在美国这个万紫千红的大世界里。新移民的我对着那陌生的环境，对着陌生的语言，我惊呆了。我就像新生的婴儿，对一切新的事物显得手足无措。我知道要在这个五彩缤纷的“舞台”上站住，就一定要适应美国的生活和了解美国的文化。风尘仆仆的我还没有时间去理清我复杂又繁重的心情，还没有时间适应新环境给我带来的时差，我就被我老爸“出卖了”。也许我来得不是时候吧，那时候刚好是寒假的开始，根本就找不到学校，我老爸只好帮我在补习学校报名读书啦。本来这没有什么了不起的事，但是他居然为了我更快的适应美国的生活，更好的掌握美国的语言。他帮我报了几间不同的补习学校。呵呵，这简直比我在中国繁重的学业还来得恐怖啊。这大概就是所谓的望女成凤吧。也许我知道在美国生活不容易，也许我知道父亲期望的心，我默默的接受了这个匪夷所思安排。可怜的我就每天为了自己的前途在这几间不同的补习学校之间奔波，可是有谁知道我吃了多少苦，有谁明白我的心呢？我自己也不知道我的泪水伴随着我过了多少了冰冷的夜？也许我的泪水已经流光了吧，也许我知道再流再多的眼泪也不能使时光倒流，也许时间的飞逝使我坚强起来吧。我都无从探索了。我只知道，来到美国之后的我，变了，变得连我自己都认不出来。

经过时间的洗礼，刚来美国的那种不适应已经慢慢的不见了，那个对我犹如恶梦的寒假也过去了。迎接我的是新学校带给我的喜悦。美国的教育一直是我向往的，早在那一个个归国的留学生的口中得知美国的教育，我就对它充满了向往之情。想不到今天的我居然梦想成真，有机会去了解美国的教育方法。刚上学的第一天，我那不安的心情就给那种快乐的课堂气氛给感染了。不同于中国那种古板的，严肃的课堂气氛，美国的教育是师生融为一体，但我觉得中国的老师是神圣不可侵犯的。他们说过的话就像圣旨一样，我们做学生的没有反抗的能力。也许这就是至今我来美之后唯一感到有兴趣的事。它让我觉得来美国也没有我想像中那么坏。慢慢的，我在学校中交到了朋友，学业也赶上了进度。我甚至开始为我之前想念中国一切，讨厌美国而每一夜让眼泪陪着我过夜而感到愚蠢。

来美之后，也许这也算是我来到美国之后睡得最安稳的一个晚上了，我梦到了我带着甜甜的笑容，在一群金发碧眼，不同肤色朋友的包围下，站在在美国的自由女神上高呼“来美之后，真好！”

我的母亲

收音机里柔柔的播放着陈百强演唱的《念亲恩》。它将我从遥远的思絮中拉回。我想起了孟效的〈〈游子吟〉〉，我仿佛见到了细小的银针从母亲手中的衣服中穿梭。当我想起这首诗歌时，思绪浓浓的，说不清是心灵深处的呐喊，还是尘封心底的思念。
细想起那年过半百，背已微驼，发丝凌乱，母亲确实是老了。再慈祥的爱也难挡住岁月的匆匆。我再写完〈〈我的母亲〉〉这条题目时，泪已倾泻而下.......
有多少次望着你苍老的背影,想和你说声谢谢。但是我却从来没说出口。今天我要用我的笔去纪录我对你的爱。用我的文字呼唤你，用我的文字祝福你。我从没忘记你的谆谆教诲，不能忘记母亲对我的殷切期望。抱歉我曾经如此叛逆伤透你的心。我要告诉你，你就是我的骄傲。
我的母亲不是伟人，没有什么可以讴歌的丰功伟绩；她也不是名人，未曾留下什么富有传奇色彩的故事。我的母亲，她只是一名极普通的农妇，是千千万万平凡老百姓中的一个。可是，我的母亲对我们姐弟的爱却从来没有少，但是她对我们的爱并不是溺爱。她用宽容的爱化成春风化雨暖透我们的心。在她的身上，却不乏让我回味终生的东西。她的一生，也如一面镜子，能让我学会坦然接受生命的艰辛和曲折，让我清楚地认识到人性所具有的高贵和脆弱。
我的母亲从小就生长在偏远的农村，受教育的程度也不高。在我有记忆以来，我的母亲就从没有在学业上对我有所帮助。正因为我的母亲是一名极为普通的农妇，我曾经不敢将我的母亲带到家长会去。我怕我的同学会取笑我有这样一名极为平凡的母亲。有那么的一段日子我变得很叛逆，我的学习一直往下掉。我温柔的母亲狠狠的将我骂我一遍。我永远记得她曾经说过那么一句：“你不学习就算了，你以为我监督你学习是为了谁？既然你连自己都放弃了，我还能拿什么拯救你。”我不相信我平时温柔的母亲居然用那么生气的口气和我说话，我委屈的哭了。我的眼角流出的泪绝不会再是懦弱，我是气我自己不明白你的心。你总是日日夜夜的守护在我的身旁，伴随着我度过多少个春夏秋冬。但是我遇到不会做的难题就会向你发脾气。你的爱却永未退让，你一生眷顾无言地送赠。母亲，请你原谅我的无知，我不懂你爱我的心。从此以后，我都要带你到我的家长会上去，把你骄傲的介绍给我的师长，同学们。我要告诉他们，你是我平凡却伟大的母亲。
在我小的时候，父亲就出外为家里的生计而奔波。所以在我的童年，我很少感受到父亲的爱。母亲身兼父责，她用慈祥的目光，关怀着我们成长。在我幼小的心中，母亲就是一棵参天大树，不管是大雨滂沱，还是雷鸣闪电，只要在母亲的身边，我们就感到十分安全温暖。记得有一天发生龙卷风，因为我正在读小学，没有家长的接送老师不允许我们独自回家。见到一个个的同学的家长都来把自己的孩子接走了，我却还留在学校里。那时候我觉得母亲并不爱我，我小小的心灵在哭泣着“妈妈不要我了”。我坐家教室里等了很久很久，母亲那娇小的身影才出现。原来母亲是从遥远的山区一步一步的步行来学校为我送饭的。母亲一见到我就连忙递送上饭盒给我，唯恐我饿坏了。她甚至还来不及弄清身上的泥泞。捧着那保温的饭盒，我的泪不由自主的倾泻而下。“傻孩子，别怕，妈妈在，不会有事的。”母亲用她那惯有的温柔轻声安慰我。我眼角流出的泪并不是因为我吓坏了才哭的，我是因为感动才哭。"那一刻，我又一次感到了母亲是一个这么坚强，这么值得依赖的人。
母亲有一种宽厚，乐观的人格魅力。她出身于贫寒之家，自幼就练就了坚强不屈的个性。她从不向命运低头，在永远奋战的人生路途上，始终保持了贫贱不移，威武不屈的人格。她觉得天塌下来也没有什么大不了的事。她总觉得船到码头自然直。在那经济紧迫的日子。我真的不知道应该说你太乐观还是应该说你傻。我们一家没有别的经济收入，全家的生活就是靠父亲那每月那微薄的工资和母亲每天埋头耕作，就这样母亲你一个人挑起了田里的重担。在那么漫长岁月里你默默忍受了多大艰辛。你肩上压的是养活全家的重担......也正是在这艰苦卓绝的日子里，锤炼了你的坚忍不拔的个性。使你终于走过泥泞，走出坎坷。是你和爸爸艰苦地把我们姐弟抚育成人，母亲，你为了家，为了儿女，你付出得太多太多了。

岁末，陷入一种无可救药的慌乱之中。明白着沒在做什么事，但一颗心就是浮动不安；担心这、担心那，压力倍增，卻无法付诸行动。向來，越该是忙乱的時刻，我便越是想逃跑，什么事都做不成。既一事无成，烦乱的心思飘然远走，人也更易伤感失落，並且怀旧。随着年岁渐增，不知何时开始，怀想成了一种奢侈；多的是人家告诫我別总是活在自己的世界之中、別只是任由自己心緒飞驰，不切实际。懶得多加辯解，卻会暗自回头頭检视，自己是否真是那样缥缈不实际。至今依旧无解，只是更坚定了照我想要的方式过日子的意志罢了。 “我很怀念那時候，但不代表我想回到那時候。”有人曾经那么说。晚间翻着杂志，蓦地這段話入了眼、竄上心头。拿起色笔画着记着，只觉得眼泪就要滑落，這個世界悄然无声。若不想回到那時候，那么人是抱著什么样的心态回首曾经？不确定自己是否探触到这句话的语意深处，但对于那句話，确然感触良多。想起许多人、许多事，更明白自己绝非活在回忆之中。人无法活在回忆里，回忆却会萌芽滋长，使人无畏前行。虽不是那么绝对，但忆抱著泛黃记忆所轻綻出的笑容与泪花，令我有勇气走向未知，并敢于有梦。每回读到这句话或是看相关的论述，常是热泪盈眶。作者胸怀的梦、眸中的热情、面上的笑容，总令我不能自已地傾慕，甚至是膜拜了吧？有這樣一個永远热情、永不放弃地去圆梦的人走在前头，除了躲在后头激动落泪之外，也让人跌跌撞撞地迈开步伐想追随。 “梦”不会仅是林间夕照。即便近日颓然，我亦如斯相信。今夜不多怀旧，我开始向往，一种澎湃激昂的出发。写着写着，总觉得有什么卡住了，无发精准地把想说的话说完。嗯，暂且就这样吧吧。不及诉说的，就以行动去表述啦。呵。还想留住拥抱世界的勇气，以及信任美好的纯粹，所以－－不回首、不流泪、不记来时路。

远方的黄昏是否如眼前的那般绚丽多彩？你是否也如以往那般沉醉在那美丽的黄昏沐浴？想念那缕笑意。是谁在铺满夕阳的黄昏，与我把手言欢？少了你的黄昏，我总觉得黄昏带着一点点的忧伤。它不会再那么令我神往，它不会再那么神秘。你曾说过：“寂静黄昏是一天最美的时候，只因你我相约在那寂静黄昏。”那一天，寂静的黄昏笼罩了大地，就如世界失去了声音。“你好”就那么短短的一句问候，它打破了黄昏的寂静，从此黄昏成了我俩的见证。每当黄昏，你我都喜欢把手在湖边散步，欣赏远方的夕阳，感受黄昏的温柔抚摸。望着夕阳染红的湖水倒影我们成双的身影，我们不禁相视而笑。也许上天要我们年少气狂的爱情吧。突然有一天，我父母通知了我要移民到人人渴望的自由国度去。即使美国曾经是我梦寐以求的天地，但那一刻，我想到的是你，想到的是另一边天的寂寞黄昏。到了最后，我还是离开了你。我甚至没有和你说过关于我移民的只言片语，我无声无息的退出了你的世界。也许你会怪我的冷酷无情，可是有谁知道另一边天的我心底在滴血。我宁愿你怪我，我不想你为了我而失去了你的光芒。每当我黄昏，我就会想念你那边美丽的黄昏，尽管我这里难得见到那美丽的黄昏。你可知道我这里只有寂寞的黄昏，每到黄昏，我总是拖着疲倦的身体回家，在那金黄的黄昏照耀下留下一条长长的黑影，步伐蹒跚，一步一步的向前走。6月16日，我接到了你的电话，我知道你出国了。我还得知你住在离我大概一小时车程的距离那么远。我那着电话的手都在颤抖，我真的不相信两年了，你居然还记得我。我兴奋的心情已经掩盖了你的声音，我不是很清楚我们谈话的大概内容了，我只记得你问我们还可不可以一起欣赏美丽的黄昏。
